On behalf of 7 planes that recently flew in, I want to thank the FBO and museum staff for the wonderful visit and friendly, professional service. Any pilot who finds themself in this area should take advantage of visiting this historic airfield and the courteous, professional FBO services.

Stopped here last month on a cross-country. Nice airport, nice facilities, and an interesting museum on site. Self serve pumps worked fine.

Stopped here for an overnight. An old bomber training base in WWII, Wendover has multiple long runways. Wendover straddles the Nevada-Utah border -- the Bonneville Salt Flats are nearby -- and is mostly a casino town with inexpensive lodging. I stayed at the closest one -- the Nugget -- which was very reasonable but has seen better days; it was deserted on a weeknight. The FBO is very friendly and let me use the courtesy car for overnight. The ramp is huge with plenty of tie-down spots. The little museum in the terminal is interesting. Avgas price is average. A great overnight stop for the transient GA pilot.
