Spent a weekend visiting friends in KERI. North Coast service was adequate; facilities are functional but not luxurious. Wanted to charge $80 ramp fee but waived it with substantial fuel purchase. Overnight was $25, landing fee was $20. This was an MU2 (twin turboprop). AirNav should start tacking ramp/facility fees.

North Coast Air was a great experience. After enterprise rental car didn't have a car for us (although they had the reservation), The excellent staff at NCA found us another rental and gave us a ride over. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks a million!

Stopped at KERI on 7/26/09 enroute to Oshkosh. I had called the tower and asked if there was an FBO that had an A&P working. The controllers were kind enough to call North Coast Air and wonder of wonders there was indeed a mechanic working to add a little brake fluid to my brakes. After landing I was met my gracious and courteous staff. I would like to particularly compliment the gentleman who repaired the brakes and Ms. Anita Deloe. The surrounding area was shortly hammered by thunderstorms and Ms. Deloe insured that I would have a place to stay if need be and that my tube and wrag plane would be protected. I would like to thank everyone at North Coast for making me comfortable on my layover and recommend Erie and North Coast to anyone who requires fuel or respite (there is a larger convenience store right across the street). Many thanks folks and I'll be back.

Stopped in for an overnight stay. The folks helped us get a hotel room and made the reservation for us. We were not charged a ramp fee or an overnight fee. We did purchase 53 gallons of fuel so they may waive any charges with fuel. Great service on the line and at the desk. Nice folks. We were stranded for a few hours by Air Force Two.

Wife and I flew into KERI 6/6/09 18:30 local for the first time. ATC was excellent and while on Taxiway D the North Coast team was out and waiting. Chocked the plane, assisted and moved to plane to the parking location. Fuel is very reasonable and exactly what was advertised here on AirNav. My first time in Erie and with the attitude and help given by the North Coast and ATC teams on arrival made for a great touring weekend. Departure time 6/8/09 10:30 local and nothing had changed North Coast and ATC Teams were AWESOME. Will recommend this airport for fuel stops, overnights and weekends. GREAT JOB ERIE - My wife was impressed and we'll be back :-))

Was in Erie for 4 days in March. Wind got brutal on 3rd night, and they put plane inside for me. Great service, very friendly. I'd highly recommend them.

I used to be a key supporter of North Coast Air at KERI. I would fly in regularly every month (to visit my mom in a nursing home) from PTK or BKL in a light twin (PA-34). HOWEVER, the recent change by management to require a 50 gal purchase to waive their $38 ramp fee is absurd - especially when the trip only uses 12 gals of fuel (form BKL). I purchased the max fuel possible (due to wt/balance) of 12 gal and paid nearly $2/gal more for it than at home base but also got socked for the $38 ramp fee (for a grand total of 14 min at the FBO). I now consider this airport as the prime example of a rip off and will avoid it at ALL COSTS! I don't mind paying a little extra for fuel (as I have for the past 2 years), but expect the surcharges to be waived.

Great service and the best lemon water I've ever tasted! Oct 5-7 2008 my second flight into ERI from Greenville, SC. Fast service from fueling to rental car arrangement to having my plane ready on the tarmac (facing into the sun on a cool a. M.) ready to pre-flight. I am originally from ERI but flying into ERI as a private pilot for the first time a year ago to the day was an exceptional experience. This second time just was just as exciting and rewarding. Not only a courteous FBO but also hats off to exceptional controllers. Gas price worth the service provided. Can't wait to make the flight again.

What an enjoyable experience! Flew up from Pittsburgh for lunch and was promptly met by the lineman and directed to our parking right at the front door of the FBO. Debra, our customer service rep was exceptionally professional and helpful, providing us a courtesy car and map to the restaurants (we picked Joe Roots and were not disappointed!). Got back to our plane, fueled up and ready to go. Place was pristine. We will be back soon!

Just wanted to comment on the great service at North Coast last July on my way to Oshkosh from MA. I had to wait out a thunderstorm, and also get some minor repair work done. The repair service from Pat was prompt and diligent. I wish my plane were based here!

This time used a courtesy car and visited Presque Isle, grabbed lunch -- North Coast Air is one of the top FBOs I've visited. Fuel is expensive, but if you use the services the price difference pays for itself.

This was my second trip here. Mine was the only airplane on the ramp, and the service was super-fast. The deli across the street is very convenient.

Flew into KERI on a Saturday evening with my wife in our 172 for a quick pit stop. Was rather disappointed when I taxied into North Coast Air. The ramp was hectic and no lineman was out to guide me to where to park and I received nothing after several tries through radio (122.95). After parking my aircraft I was still ignored and couldn't find a pair of chocks. After using the restroom and checking the forecast we were ready to go. However we were LOCKED IN. There was no receptionist or any employee for that matter to let us out onto the ramp. After roughly 20 minutes, (and I do not exaggerate), the lineman on the ramp finally came over to let us out. I acknowledge the fact he had his hands quite full that evening; However it's disappointing that some FBO's cannot provide SIMPLE service to their customers. VERY disappointing considering the increasing costs of fuel, fees, and services at FBO's. It was a good thing we were OK on fuel that evening!

Response from Joe Ceresa, Line Service Manager, North Coast Air (814) 836-9220
We are not ones to make excuses. We have been quite slow on Saturday evenings. Our lineman on duty was called over to the main terminal to fuel an airline diversion. We apologize for your inconvenience. Every customer is important to us. If you could please contact us, we want to in some way make it up to you and your family.

Stopped in on a Friday evening back in July, line service was out to park my aircraft and was very polite and courteous. Nice small, comforting facility as well. Also no additional fees for single piston aircraft.

Top-notch service and facilities. Highly recommended if you're planning on flying to Erie. The hotel/restaurant strip is a bit of a hike (about 15 min drive to Peach Street) but worth it -- every chain hotel (Marriot, Hilton, etc) and eatery can be found there. If you have time head to Presque Isle or the Bayfront -- well worth the time.

Very comfortable FBO with an AMAZING pilot's lounge with a widescreen TV. Landed for fuel and had to stay overnight cause of some storms that would have passed through. Other than fuel charges, no additional costs and very friendly staff. Free Wifi - perfect for passing away long hour delays.
