Travel to Franklin, VA (FKN) all the time and find them to be highly professional and helpful for all your aviation needs. One of the last airports where you can truly go, sit back and just enjoy a friendly people. They go the extra mile for you. Many thanks to Jimmy Gray, Manager, and his staff for a job well done.

Still a great stop and they do have weather and a phone available. I have used the vending machines in the past, so I don't know where that comment came from. I stop at FKN on my way North and CPC on the way south, two great stops with good fuel prices and IFR approaches. I'll be back!

No wireless Internet, in fact no Internet connection at all. Also, no vending machines or soda machines. Just a water fountain.

Franklin Municipal is a great place for a fuel stop on the East Coast. Lowest fuel prices I could find and very friendly staff. They loaned us a courtesy car to go to the local restaurant. Nice clean facility and full service fueling! I will make this a frequent stop on future trips!

Do this. Go out of your way to get here. Best gas prices you will find. Clean, modern, comfortable uncrowded facility with all the services you could ask for. Super nice friendly people. Great service. I stop here on flights to and from Florida. Jimmy or Woody will loan you a vehicle to go to Fred's Restaurant in town. All you can eat buffet for 10 dollars. Come to FKN. You won't be disappointed. All FBOs should be like this. *****

Yes, this is the place to stop in Virginia. Jimmy and the gang couldn't have been more helpful. They gave my wife and I an old police car and Phil the Chief of Police showed us the way to Fred's restaurant (a must visit). My wife wanted to move there after our visit. This town knows how to treat visitors! Thanks again

Stopped by last week and they have resurfaced the taxiway. Still a great stop with prompt fueling, easy in and out, could not get any easier. Decent fuel prices too!
