Bad experience here. Overnight charge was $25.00 for a single. Couldn't take on any fuel but even so, this is ridiculous for such a sleepy airport. Good ole boy atmosphere and then this surprise! Will use the other FBO in the future.

The folks at Cotton Belt were very friendly and helpful. They had a courtesy car ready to go when we arrived and the aircraft refueled and ready to go when we returned.

While trying to get to Texas on a stormy night of 12/22/06, I had to deviate to Greenwood. While on the ILS, Greenwood radio turned the approach lights on for me and called the FBO (which was closed). After I landed, Bill Henderson (owner) parked, chalked, and tied down the airplane for me. He also gave me the crew car to use for the night. He drew me a map to the nicest hotel in the area (brand new Hampton Inn -great place at that!) and a local favorite bar and grill named Webster’s (great place to eat and listen to live music). Bill was even kind enough to invite me over for a steak! A great group of guys at Cotton Belt. They fueled me up and wished me a safe trip home back to Texas. GREAT SERVICE and awesome hospitality. The folks in the town of Greenwood were very friendly, kinda' reminded of being back in Texas! Thanks again guys for all the help and I will be back. I will also tell everyone I know to see the good guys at Cotton Belt!

I stopped in today for fuel. The fine gent marshaled me in, and before I had the canopy up he had returned to the office. I got out and walked around my bird on a post flight and headed for the wing tanks to open them up. I noticed that the lineman was still not back from the office and there had been no communication from him; I.E. "I'll be right back". I looked down the ramp and saw the other FBO. Thinking maybe they want to make a sale so I cranked up and taxied down. I had great service there. Go to the competitors!

They had a hangar fire in 2004 and the owner’s dad who was a local character died. Amazingly they rebuilt and restaffed and are now a show place. Very informal. If the personnel are out over the airport just go on in and get comfortable. Owner is not only a former Navy pilot, but before that was a Green Beret. This is a real fun place and is beautiful and hospitable.

We came in about 7pm on 12 Nov. Everyone was inside, so we tied down ourselves. Went inside FBO and we were offered beverages, BBQ ribs and chicken. nice bunch of folks-we'll stop again. Decent fuel price.
