Gulf Aviation, Inc. has been in the FBO business at the Valley International Airport-Harlingen, Texas, for over 45 years. We provide multiple aviation and ground support services to the commercial, business, and leisure aviation community flying into Valley International Airport. Our staff is skilled in the areas of employee management, business finance operations, contract negotiations and enforcement, business insurance, sales and marketing and human resources. We also have extensive knowledge of FAA guidelines consistent with aviation compliance, maintenance and general aviation operations.
Gulf Aviation provides services such as flight line and general aviation fuel sales, commercial and air freight into plane fuel services, hangar aircraft storage and aircraft maintenance along with other numerous related FBO services. Our FBO currently provides fueling services to commercial clients such as American Airlines, United Airlines, Sun Country Airlines, Delta Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Sky west Airlines and freight giants such as, Federal Express, DHL. In addition, we provide service for contracts for the United States Department of Agriculture, Med-Fruit Fly dispersal program, hangar and office space rental and aircraft refueling for governmental agencies. Our FBO is certified for Storm Water Pollution and Preventive Plan.

I had to get some documents signed so flew into KHRL. I didn't need fuel but wanted to support the FBO so explained to the line guy upon arrival that I wanted 10 gallons per side and would be leaving in 30-45 minutes. He said no problem. After about 35 minutes I went up to pay and the confused new girl behind the counter said that I needed an account to buy fuel. Had I ever been there? I said I had, but it had been a few years. I mentioned that I would be paying with a credit card so didn't need an account. She couldn't find me in the system so had to "open an account for me". 45 minutes later with help more than once from her manager she swiped my card. When given the receipt I noticed a "First Time Facility Fee" on the receipt. She said that was a first time charge for entering my information into their system. Their first time fee will also serve as a "last time fee" for me since I will never go back to this FBO ever again.
