A wonderful surprise for a Class B FBO. We arrived in a single engine prop -- line immediately directed us to parking and helped with the pushback! FBO is brand new (at least appeared to be). Counter offered use of crew car, without my having to ask, to visit Air & Space Museum. We would happily return anytime. FYI it can be a VERY long taxi to the FBO depending on runway -- but ground was very helpful. Handling fee was waived with fuel purchase (a small landing and parking fee to airport cannot be waived)

I landed at Dulles in my Bonanza and was treated as if I was one of the heavy iron guys. The friendly line staff helped me put the cover on the plane, and gave us a ride to the office. The desk staff honored discounts I get from the Signature I'm based at, and found me a good rate on the rental car. A very positive experience - I'll be back.

Signature took great care of our little Archer and us. Made our first flight into IAD a real pleasure. Nice to see our 30-year-old plane parked for a couple days next to a G5...

Visited Signature in an SR22 Friday for a weekend in DC. We could not have been treated any better! We helped ourselves to Signature's free wi-fi, crew car to go to the Smithsonian Air & Space, flight planning computers, self-serve coffee and cookies before checking out with them. We were charged $6.05/gal, $22.33 per day parking, waived the $28 handling fee because we bought fuel, and a $13.29 landing fee - more than reasonable given the kind of service, attention and kindness we were shown. After this experience we can't wait to come back!

They treated us like high-end lobbyists, and we arrived in a little piston single. The facility is one of the cleanest, sharpest, and most modern I have been in. The WiFi was easy to hop onto. They gave us a crew car to drive over to the Air & Space museum adjacent to Dulles, and reminded us to wait until the weekend to top off so we could get the weekend rate. They are a little more aware of high-end options for getting into town (hire a car, rent a car), and had less information about the metro, but that is to be expected. They were happy to drop us at the main terminal with the crew van.

Flew in today in my Cherokee 180. If you get fuel, make sure you verify that it was actually put into your tanks! I requested, and paid for, fuel, only to discover during pre-flight that it was never put in my plane!! As with other Signature locations, staff was professional and friendly.

Flew in VFR for Valentine's Day with my wife in a C172. Was vectored from the west direct to a tight downwind for 19L. Just as we arrived for it at the threshold of 1R, a United 777 was on short final. We had an amazing view of it landing just as we were halfway downwind, but we were kept well wide of its wake. Signature is nice -- and the security is beefed up slightly from my last visit a few years back. We were given a courtesy car, but decided to instead grab some water and take a bathroom break before heading right back out. Total fee: $38 -- 8 for landing, 30 for Signature. We picked up our VFR clearance back to OKV but gave us RWY 30 rather than 19L. Ground was kind enough to give progressive instructions without me asking. Departure asked if we wanted following all the way to OKV (we did). All in all, this experience and several others, Potomac Approach and Dulles have always been extremely friendly to slow single engines. If any TRACON workers are reading this -- thank you!

Signature is turning over a new leaf if you haven't noticed. Lower fuel prices + waiving fees with reasonable uplifts. A word to the wise....

Flew into Dulles to go to the museum. Signature dropped us off at the museum, since we just missed the shuttle to the museum. Caught the Virginia Regional shuttle back to Dulles; a short walk from the drop-off back to Signature. ATC was helpful too; overall a great experience! Bought 8 gal of fuel for my PA28; total bill came to $78, including landing ($8) & parking ($18) fees.

Came in again this morning just for a couple of hours in a C182. Same great service!! There was a nice gentleman working the desk by the name of Mansour who let us use the crew car until whenever. Also he waived the parking fee for me since I wasn't there for that long. I did not buy any fuel and my total costs came out to $36. Once again, I helped myself to plenty of their cookies. They also have free bottled water, popcorn, ice cream, coffee, and newspapers. Great job Signature!!

Based on encouraging reports here, I flew my Archer IFR to IAD yesterday evening (July 8), and left this morning. I was not disappointed. Potomac approach, Dulles tower, and the ground controllers (there were 3 between landing and the Signature FBO) were all professional and supportive. Signature tucked me in very near the FBO front door, surrounded by some seriously large jets. I saw one Cessna 1972 parked, but otherwise it was all Goliaths. Charges were $8 landing fee, and $18 for the overnight parking. The FBO $28 handling fee was waived with 7 gallons of gas. They even gave me a $0.25 per gal discount on this midweek trip. IAD was well worth the trip. The people at Signature were all great. Line guys were there instantly. Thanks everyone.

Flew my Tiger in on June 8 with a friend to go to the Hazy Center. A $.50/gallon discount is offered on weekends. A new crew car was provided for our use. The service was prompt and efficient even for a light piston. Lot's of G-Vs and IVs on the ramp. Fuel prices are high, but in line with other high activity class b fields. ATC was helpful with getting us in and out quickly. I'll be back.

Arrived in my Bonanza and was made to feel welcome by the Signature people. IAD controllers also go out of their way to help. There are no actual tie downs at IAD so be careful about going there in something light if high winds are forecast. Overall, a good experience

I visited Signature today in my PA28 and was afforded cordial service by all concerned including the use of a crew car to visit the Hazy center. This was my first visit to IAD and it went smoothly due to the cooperative controllers and the unexpected lack of heavy traffic.

Flew in early this morning in a 182 to go the museum. "Follow me" car was waiting as I taxied in. All staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Best of all, you’ve must get some of the warm soft cookies in the lounge! All kinds of coffee. Left around 1pm with TONS of activity all around. Lots of jets on the ramp..Watch your wing tips. Located off of 19L/1R next to the terminal.

Flew into IAD today during what I learned to be the "commercial rush hour" in my little Cessna 150. ATC was amazing! Potomac approach zig zaged me in with 180kt commercial traffic and snuck me in between some heavies. They even asked me which FBO I was visiting and made sure I landed on the runway closest to Signature so I did not have to taxi for miles. They even apologized for having to zig zag (which I did not mind at all) and thanked me! Then I arrived at the FBO. Can’t say enough about the service at Signature. The ramp was full of corporate jets being serviced. And I, in a plane dwarfed by the corporate planes, was met with service only corporate expect to receive! I had a "follow me" vehicle guide me in, a van waiting to give me a lift to the terminal, and another guy to see what I needed before I could even get my seatbelt off. Never in 11 years of flying have I seen this kind of service!

Never had a bad experience nationwide with Signature, and this facility was no exception. Of course, the gas prices at major airports don't compare to smaller airports! Got my rental car on priceline and Signature's van nicely, quickly, drove me to my rental car off-site. Facility very clean, staff eager to help, didn't matter I fly a small plane! My handling fee was waived for 7 gallons of fuel bought for .50 less on a weekend - seems like the $7 extra I paid for gas is a discount to the $60 handling fee should you buy no gas! Stop here every time I come to Dulles. Be careful driving thru Fairfax County, VA (leaving Dulles), lots of police looking for bad drivers.

We came to Dulles to see the Smithsonian at the airport. Signature gave us the crew car, and we were gone for six hours at the museum. If their cars are busy, you can't have them that long, but they have plenty of crew cars available. Expect to pay a $60 handling fee for twins more for jets, less for singles. And there is a $15 landing fee to the airport. Signature's facility and staff are first rate and treat the small guys like the G-5s.

I have been to this facility twice in the last six weeks in a Mooney. Both times, service was exceptional: car waiting as reserved (and then further discounted to crew rate), plane fueled as requested - and once moved and tied down in anticipation of bad weather. If you fly into airports of this size, you should expect fees and pricey gas for the convenience.

Flew in for 3 nights in our single engine piston. We were the smallest plane on the ramp but were treated fairly. Prices were reasonable given the location, etc. Best way to get to downtown DC is by taxi. We paid $60 (w/o tip) each way for 4 people & baggage.

Came in to explore air museum. Arrived on Friday, left Sunday. Waived facility fee with min 7 gallons of fuel. $.50 weekend discount for fuel, even when we arrived on the Friday. Charged $22 overnight parking fee (airport) for 2 nights. $8 landing fee for a 182. Great service at reasonable rates. More jets than pistons here, but service was the same.

Came to drop off a passenger and re-fuel. Line service was attentive, but my needs were minimal. I was charged $39 to park for about an hour while having the privilege of paying over $1000 for 148 gallons of jet fuel (w/o Prist) once everything (landing, parking, tax, etc) was added up. Inside, staff was courteous. They gave away about 5 different brands of newspapers, 8 flavors of coffee, cookies, popcorn and ice cream bars and candy but would not mail back a 6 ounce item lost on their ramp without a credit card number. Go figure.

I flew into Dulles in a Debonair this past Friday and parked for the weekend. The service coming in was impeccable; we were parked and given assistance with our luggage and transportation. We were scheduled for an early departure on Sunday and I called the night before to inquire about a preheat for the airplane. The young woman who answered the phone had no idea what I was talking about. I said, "You have no idea what I'm talking about, do you?" and she admitted that she didn't. Then I asked to speak to someone who knew something about airplanes and I was put on hold for a while. A gentleman finally picked up and when I repeated my question he rather rudely told me, "No, we don't do that". They don't do that?? It was a good thing that we were blessed with warm temperatures that night and I was able to get the engine started without a preheat.
