I honestly have no idea why everyone gripes about Signature's prices. Yes, they are high, but you can call ahead and find out exactly what they are. I overnighted here on the way back from the Bahamas. Ramp charge waived with 7 gallons of gas. Paid $8.24 landing fee, $25 parking and just under $5 per gallon for gas with the weekend discount. Yes, $69 for an overnight with a bit of gas is expensive, but strangely we live in a capitalist society where people charge for their services to run business profitably. Not entirely sure why so many piston pilots get to riled up about this. Service was excellent which is why I ponied up the incremental $40 to take my family through Signature for the overnight. If it were just me, I would have been over at St. Augustine pumping the gas myself. :)

After a negative experience at SheltAir (went there because of lower fuel prices) our company started using Signature. We normally avoid Signature because of the high prices. However, when all was said and done, we ended up paying less at Signature than SheltAir and we received a level of service that is in a totally different league than the staff at SheltAir. Everyone from the ramp to the FBO manager was very accommodating, professional, and attentive to each customer during a very busy time. Especially Tesa. There were several jets, turboprops, and GA planes arriving and departing at the same time. We will be using Signature KJAX from now on.

Wow. I went to these comments after my stop yesterday just to see if others felt the same. NO DOUBT. I got raped also for a minimum 7 gal fuel purchase at $2 above average fuel prices or $25 in "handling charges". So I bought the fuel. This doesn't count the 7.50 for "landing fees". AirNav has a Great Deals Fuel Report. I wished they had a Bad Deals Report as well because this Signature would top the list. This may not sound like a lot to a Corporation but for the GA pilot struggling with average priced avgas, it hurts.

Not a good place to stop if you're a GA pilot- they rape you with excessive fuel prices, landing fees, and ramp fees. All the "free" cookies and coffee in the world won't cover up for their extortion- they've made a pact with the devil to rip off any non-NetJets plane- avoid like the plague.

The Aviation Authority at KJAX does NOT directly charge a landing fee. If you have any questions about this, call Airport Ops and they will lead you in the right direction. Great airport and the local ATC guys do a wonderful job and are always friendly.

If you are a GA pilot paying your own way, this is not a place for us. The price for fuel on top of all the fees is I believe their way of telling us to go somewhere else. The cookie tasted good, the coffee was fresh, and the people were nice but man will you pay for it.

Here is the comment submitted directly to the thieves at Signature: (by the way, the fuel prices on Airnav are understated by nearly a dollar, to be succinct they are Bull*&^%.) We have finally had all we can take. Signature is off of our company list of approved FBO's. Your facilities are beautiful. However, a HANDLING fee of $135 at JAX, or if we are willing to take a RAPING at $5.80/gal for avgas, we can avoid the charge. I pay $3.80 at home. So you rip me off for either $135 or $200 in OVERCHARGE for fuel. Guess what. We are done with you. Your services don't outweigh the larceny in your soul. My next posting is to AirNav.

CONFIRM the fuel price at Signature JAX. Just paid 6.55 a gallon for Jet-A on Nov 1 2005. Welcome to Signature. When are we all going to learn?
