I'm a French pilot, recently moved to Daytona for studies. I did my first American cross country from Daytona to Leesburg. It was also the first time I went to an FBO with a general aircraft (a C172). What a blast!!! The ground personnel is really kind, they have a car they can lend to you if you take fuel, other then the fuel we didn't pay anything. I don't know if it's American standards but this FBO is awesome, and I will come back.

Stop over at LEE for fuel, self-serve next to tower. Taxied to SunAir, line staff put air in my front tire and cleaned my windows even though I used the self-serve pump. Great service, good fuel prices, nice facilities, I'll be back.

I enjoyed both Sun 'n Fun AND SunAir. I've been in to SunAir twice in two weeks and each time my rental car was waiting on the ramp for me. The line folks promptly moved my airplane to its tie down spot so that I could cover and secure it. All in all, SunAir offers superb and friendly service and great fuel prices. Thank you, SunAir. I returned to SunAir after Sun N Fun. On this visit I found their service to be much improved. The lineman was on the spot and helpful. The men in the office were friendly and service oriented. Good job on your improvements.

SunAir is the ONLY FBO at KLEE as far as I am concerned. SunAir staff has taken care of me as a customer since basing my A36 at KLEE several years ago. When I call for fuel, I have never waited more than 5 minutes for one of the linemen to pull up in the avgas truck. Other times, when I use their self-serve, the prices are always competitive and fuel is always available. Their maintenance shop is also top-notch and run very professionally by Sam Griner. For me, stability of ownership and trust in management is foremost in my mind. SunAir has been around for over 30 years at this airport, and they have the track record I require when trusting my aircraft to them. Other FBOs may come and go, but I am confident SunAir will be there to take care of my aircraft for many years to come.

Though I have stopped into SunAir before, this is my first time back since Triangle Aviation opened. Although the employees are friendly they all need much more training in customer service. From tie down to departure I had the feeling that we were an inconvenience to their day. The prearranged rental car not ready, line men hard to find, asking for payment as soon as I walked in the door. It's a nice place with lots of potential, they just need training. My next visit will be back to Triangle.

I visited Leesburg today (02/21/09) for the first time and had a great experience with your company. The people were courteous, professional and very helpful. I was offered a courtesy vehicle to go to a local restaurant and have lunch. Since I rented a plane and did not have the need to purchase fuel, they still offered me the vehicle. The establishment is cleaned and with extra amenities. Excellent job. Keep it up. I will recommend it to other fellow pilots.

Thanks once again to Brian and his team, the chaps refueling the instant our plane returned to repositioning and running us about on the Golf carts. Amy on reception who managed a great deal with a local Hotel and 'Sam the man' the resident engineer, who at the drop of a hat was able to sort out any 'squawks' with the immaculate Arrow we hired for two weeks of our building and touring this wonderful Pilot friendly country.

While flying to Indiana Christmas day, we stopped to top-off (best prices) and file...My cargo list included; my wife and 6 dachshunds...While loading my "cargo", 3 of our hounds decided to take a "walk". Keith Franklin of SunAir, promptly grabbed a golf cart, cleared with the tower and proceeded to "wrangle" the herd back to our airplane. During this mayhem, I dropped my wallet! We took off...The following morning, before I had realized it was gone, received a call from the local FBO in Indiana where I had landed. Keith had; found my wallet, found my destination, contacted the FBO, all this, before I had noticed it was missing! I received my wallet a couple of days later (nothing missing) and this is how companies create loyal customers...Doing the right thing. Since we are Florida residents, we look forward to returning to SunAir and greeting Keith with hardy handshake and maybe a little something, something for the effort...Thank you and have a great 2009!

I have been using SunAir Aviation for the last year. I have nothing bad to say about them. They really are an example of professionalism in all aspects. I rent their airplanes for at least 20 hours a month for my business and never have a minimum problem with them. I been flying for the last 20 years of my life and go to 5 or 6 different FBOs every week but always it's a pleasure go to SunAir at Leesburg. They will go the extra mile to fill your needs with a big smile in their faces. If your stop is for fuel, do not even consider other options, SunAir have the best prices and better service by far.

27 NOV Thanksgiving Day RTB from EYW I was having electrical problems. Diverted into LEE and SunAir as I knew they would help me to the best of their ability on a major holiday. Brian was there and I ended up buying a battery he had fully charged and ready to go. Long story as to how that happened to be but it was there. We struck a friendly deal and I was on my way with enough power to get home. I didn't expect to find a fully charged battery but I did expect to find help and there it was. Nice folks who work hard to get pilots and their passengers into or out of LEE with ease. FS fuel at a reasonable price or pump your own at a very competitive price.

I go to KLEE 3-4 times a year to visit family. I called ahead on October 17th to let them know I would be staying a couple of days and to make sure there was tie down space. I was scheduled to arrive after closing and Keith was waiting for me when I arrived. I love this place and you can't beat the level of service they provide. I will keep coming back.

I've been a customer of SunAir Aviation since moving to the area in 1985. From early flight simulators to modern glass panels, they've always kept pace with services and technologies expected of high-end flight schools and FBOs. The staff and management are second to none. I met Brian, the current owner, when he started as a lineman in his teens. Dale, the original owner, is still active in the business. Brian continues SunAir Aviation's family atmosphere, with the service of a big-city FBO. Anyone coming to Leesburg will do well to take advantage of their hospitality and reasonably priced self-service fuel.

SunAir's planes are always well maintained, well equipped and clean. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. On a recent trip to the Bahamas we decided to take the new G-1000 172 knowing we would have to navigate around the afternoon storms. The NEXRAD worked great, removing all doubt about whether to steer right or left of any given cell. Keep up the good work.

I have rented aircraft from SunAir since moving to Lake County in 2003. There are numerous reasons why I elected to fly with SunAir. First, the owner Brian Sapp and his staff are always courteous and helpful. Second, the rental aircraft is the best fleet that I have ever seen. They offer everything from trainers, retractable, multi engine and glass panel aircraft. Finally, I like to rent from a FBO that has a service department. If a problem occurs, I can talk to Sam directly about the aircraft and the problem will be solved promptly.

I have been doing business with Brian and SunAir for many years. The service has always been outstanding and my most recent stop was no exception. I had given SunAir advanced notice of my arrival and requested a quick turn and luggage cart on arrival. Both the fuel truck and golf cart were waiting upon shutdown and I was on my way in short order. The fuel prices are reasonable and the facility is exceptional. Thanks for another great visit SunAir!

I stopped at KLEE overnight to visit my parents in "The Villages". I had used SunAir on several previous visits so I am very familiar with them. Competition from the new other FBO at KLEE has done wonders to improve service at SunAir. SunAir's avgas prices are substantially higher but I cannot fault their service this trip. The bad blood between the two FBO's was the subject of a local newspaper article the day that I visited. Tensions were high at SunAir during my stay there.

I cannot recommend SunAir highly enough. I've visited FBOs all across this great land in cities large and small, and in my eyes few compare to SunAir in Leesburg. The prompt professional courtesy, the beautiful FBO pilot-lounge and services and the friendly small town feel. Absolutely top notch.

From the customer service desk person, the line guys and the flight instructors the experience is great, very nice people, good fuel prices, and excellent well-maintained feet of airplanes; I will use them again, and again. I had to finish some ratings with SunAir because my flight school had maintenance issues. It was a very pleasant experience. The staff is very friendly and their planes are extremely clean and well maintained. Any issues brought to their attention are taken care of. My flight instructor, Chris Collier, was very friendly and professional. I only used their flight school but I'm sure the FBO side of the business is run just as well. Their prices are extremely reasonable and the service is amazing. Plain and simple.

Great FBO from the gals behind the desk to the guys on the flight line. SERVICE! It’s in abundant supply here. Prompt lineman even though I followed in a $3 Million dollar King Air. Helped with bags. Arranged to have avionics shop access to aircraft. Stayed 4 nights and purchased $190 in 100LL at only $3.68 for Full Serve. No tie down fees with fuel purchase and they have great facilities. Highly recommend!

Nice, nice, nice people...There's just no other way to say it! I flew in to pick up my sister and they didn't charge me one thin dime to park, use their computer, or rest in their oh-so-comfy chairs. I felt guilty and bought some things from the vending machines. Don't have any doubts if you're considering Sun Air, they're amazing. Just watch out for the turbulence as you go over all those lakes and housing developments.

I've rented from many FBO's and this one has got it together. The planes are well maintained and clean. If a problem is found during pre-flight, it get's fixed. If a problem is found post flight it's fixed by the next day. I think this is the way to run an operation.

Florida weather being Florida weather caused me to put down in Leesburg Easter Sunday after hours. Even though the FBO was closed, someone was there and opened it up for us. I must say they have not forgotten about southern hospitality at SunAir. This was my nephew’s first flight and he could not believe how nice Michelle was and that all these services were provided. He also thought it was cool to sit down watch a movie and then get back up and finish the trip. Next time I am that way again, I will stop in at SunAir even if it is to say high and get some fuel. Thank you SunAir.
