Stopped here on my way back from Florida to Michigan in my Comanche. Not only is it cheap fuel, I put it in my top 3 as friendliest FBO in the country - and I've been to 47 of the lower 48 states in my plane. I'll definitely be back if I am anywhere near the area. Would probably even detour to stop here.

Stopped here on our way to watch the Shuttle launch in Florida. Very nice airport. Clean facility. Friendly people. This is a good stop to stretch your legs and fill up with fuel. Self serve pump and good price.

Just want to thank Jim and Bud for the good old Southern hospitality. I stopped at LUX on my way down to and back from FXE. Got socked in for a couple of days because of weather. Bud drove me into town to get a motel and then picked me up the next morning to get back to the airport. I wasn't going anywhere fast so he hooked me up with a local car rental outfit. Kathy, the local car rental lady delivered me a car at the airport within 30 minutes. I couldn't ask for more and surely didn't expect the level of hospitality that I received. Airport runway and fueling facilities are excellent. Fuel pricing, motel prices and car rental prices are the lowest you will see anywhere. Thanks again Jim and Bud. I will be back.

Landed at LUX for fuel today, January 13, 2010. Jim was waiting to help me fuel the airplane. The fuel price was as advertised at $3.50. We did not need any rides, but I felt as though one would not have been difficult to get had I asked. A friendly place we will be sure to stop at again.

In the last several years, I've flown/landed in airports from Waterville Valley, NH - Oakland, CA - Austin, TX - Key West, FL. We have been in big FBO's and the smallest. I have never had better service then at KLUX. These guys are unbelievable. Great service. Got a ride from Jim to my son's basketball game at Presbyterian College, and he wouldn't take a dime. Gas is cheap. Runway is very nice. It really is hard to believe that people can be so dang nice. In a couple weeks, they will have pay-at-the-pump, and I'll fly out of my way to stop in. Mr. White, it's a real pleasure to know ya'll.

Jim met us on the ramp Saturday, Sept 27, drove home and brought his van back to the airport to haul us all to lunch. Thanks Jim!

Call to confirm fuel prices, as they make no effort to keep AirNav informed! Avgas went from 3.80 to 3.85 just a few days ago, so I assumed 3.85 were correct. I went out of my way to get fuel...AT $4.21!

GREAT Service!! Stopped for fuel and a hotel on a flight to Florida. When I found out the hotel wouldn't come and get me, Jim took me there in his own car and picked me up in the morning! Now that's service! $.10 discount on fuel if you pay with cash.

I called ahead because I was going to arrive after normal hours and they cheerfully waited for me so I could fuel up. I'll be back for sure! Thanks.
