Went down to Lawrence to vist my daughter in school. Each time we fly into this airport the linesman is always there to greet us and tie down the aircraft and offer any other help we might need. Sorry I didn't get his name but appreciate his service each time. Facilities are great and inside help is always helpful. Only draw back is the higher fuel price for 100LL (How about a Jay Hawk deduction for parents).

Good facility and service. Had an oil leak problem that the mechanic quickly corrected. Rental car was waiting and ready on arrival.

Flew into LWC from S. Cal on 4/14/08. The FBO was friendly and helpful. We were tied down thru 4/27. The tie down fee was waived for the entire time. We bought fuel and had our oxygen bottle filled. Nice pilots lounge and facility. Also wanted to mention that if you need a good deal on a rental car, call Ryan at Premier Auto, 785-841-6200 The FBO gave me his number, I called, and he was there in 15 min. And the deal on the car for two weeks was excellent.

Nice staff and great service. They were able to get my oil change in with same day notice. Recommended FBO definitely!

This time, a friendly lineman met me as I shut down, learned my needs, and tied down the plane before I even got out of the plane. EXCELLENT service. Highly recommend. Easy access to Kansas City, KS/NASCAR and Kansas University. AWOS, ILS, friendly staff, plenty of ramp space, weather computer, Internet computer, big-screen TV--what more do you need? Just watch out for aircraft using the other runway...They meet in an X.

Love to stop here. Easy in/out and a c-car or rental is always available. Yesterday, the c-car was out so I was offered the use of someone's late-model Explorer for a quick drop-off. They handle the NASCAR rush well. Best back-road to the track!

Called ahead for a hotel reservation. They got me a room on a busy Saturday night in Lawrence (home of KU). Nice facility and tie down ropes for parking. But it's a busy non-towered airport...At least when I arrived...With planes landing on both runways!

Line staff met me at the plane and asked if I needed anything, but didn't offer to tie me down or help in any way.
