Very friendly place. Good alternative to the higher priced fuel in Nashville. Lots of flight training.

Super nice place to stop. I dropped off my son on 04-12-08 and found my plane battery was dead and needed charging. This fixed base operator went the extra mile and purchased a battery charger so I could charge my battery, how's that for service! I will

Good experience. Offered to bring rental car out to airplane. Nice staff.

Very nice people. No crew car but the airport manager picked us up in town for a ride back to the airport. There is lots of flight training in the area.

Nice facility, no fuel truck but pulled right up to the pump. Pilot lounge is comfortable, everyone was pleasant and offered a ride to town or anything else I needed. I got home and figured out that I left my flight jacket in the Pilot lounge. I sent a mailing label and got my jacket back within a week! Thanks guys!

MBT and MAXAIR Flight School is a perfect match. The both provide great services, a friendly atmosphere and always make you feel welcome. I highly recommend making a stop there on a cross-country flight.

Overnighted at MBT in late September and was thoroughly impressed with FBO personnel. All were friendly and helpful. Facilities were top-notch, fuel reasonably priced, and no tie-down fee with fuel purchase. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely plan another stop!

Sunday May 28. Facilities in good condition. Best combination of location and fuel prices for a visit to Franklin, TN which doesn't have its own airport. Attendant Daniel gave friendly, courteous service though he was the only employee present. No courtesy car.

Had an electrical problem after hours. Friendly folks from the airport and adjacent college lent a hand and we found the loose connector causing the problem. At the typical mega FBO Jet Center I would have been stuck overnight and had a $400 charge, at this friendly airport the Bonanza was fixed and underway in no time. Special thanks to Charles McGaughy who stopped in from Mack Air (931) 680-2600. He knows his Beechcraft products.

I fly a Cessna 340A into KMBT one or two times a year to visit family. I come from Los Angeles. I cannot say I've visited all the airports in the country, but see many new ones each year of my 29 years in aviation and broad use of my airplane. I can say that, without a doubt, KMBT is one of my favorites. I am sorry to see Mr. Hollow's comments below, but I think he misses the point. This is the fabric of America, these small airports. Thank God we have them! KMBT is as good as they come with all the trimmings most pilots like (read: inexpensive!). Gas is cheap, parking easy, walking distance to food, friendly atmosphere, and of course, the 50's tunes over the WWII loudspeaker is what makes MBT great! I'd take this any day over having to pay $1+ more a gallon just to have someone show me where to park and stroke my ego.

I fly to Murfreesboro for meetings a couple of times a year. This week was no different than previous visits--friendly personnel and a warm smile from people who are genuinely glad to see you. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Keep up the good work guys. We'll be back.

Just a note to say how impressed our party was tonight as we attended the AOPA Safety Meeting hosted by Murfreesboro Airport. We arrived at MBT and were warmly greeted and driven downtown to the meeting place free of charge. Upon returning to the airport after the meeting, Chad, airport manager, was nice enough to wash our windshield while we planned our departure - he had overheard one of us comment how dirty our plane's windshield was. Bravo Chad - now that's great service!!! Thank you very much.
