Always a great experience at Wilson Air Center. Friendly staff and great service. Don't be afraid of the big class B airport as the controllers are very helpful and friendly.

Visited on 2-7-08. This was my 2nd time here this year. Both times I had friendly service, however, the 2nd visit I had a bit of trouble with a lineman. I was in a Diamond Twin Star (jet-a powered) and it took a little convincing to get them to put the jet-a in it, which wasn't bad because they were just making sure. The real problem was with the fuel caps; the lineman was adamant that my fuel caps were on backwards. The cap tabs fold forward (not back like on a CJ or something). He continued to argue with me until I asked him if he would like me to show him in the AFM how the fuel caps go in. More of an annoyance than bad service. I'd go back.

I arrived at Wilson Air Center on 11-29-07 and received excellent treatment and attention. Since it was cold at night and I assumed (correctly) that hangar space would not be available, I indicated that I have engine heaters, but would require a power source. The aircraft was moved to a spot next to the canopy, and plugged into an APU unit all night, so I had warm engines no charge. Great service from everyone, beginning with Line Service as well as the CSR's.

Wilson has great location, facility & service! Try to land on 27 for faster access. Only wish tower could accommodate departures without taxiing to Mississippi when the 36 runways are in use.

Stopped in for 5 hours 6/3/07 in my C182. Excellent service; baggage loaded for us in nice new courtesy car (Toyota Camry). Plane was fueled as requested, with 15 cent AOPA discount. Large, very nice passenger & pilot facilities. Can't beat the location from 9/27 or 18L/36R. Best experience I've had at a Class B FBO.

We were in for a few days on vacation in our 182. The staff at Wilson was great, super friendly. They took us to our Hotel. First-rate job! Flying into MEM was a piece of cake the controllers were very friendly. I would fly in to here again. Fuel was also reasonably priced considering that this is the ain airport. Also got a .15 discount because I am an AOPA member.

My wife and I flew a Piper Lance into KMEM on Christmas Eve, and had the airport practically to ourselves. The lineman at Wilson directed us right up to our rental car, which was waiting on the ramp. The red carpet was laid out for us (literally). Wilson provided outstanding service, with polite and professional staff. Avgas was $3.90/gal. before tax, with AOPA discount. This was our first time flying into the primary airport in Class B airspace. The controllers were helpful, and the experience pleasant. We will absolutely fly into KMEM again and will certainly stay at Wilson.

Made a quick-turn to drop-off a passenger. Was greeted with friendly staff. They grabbed the baggage and brought a shuttle van and driver...All for two guys in a Beech Muskateer. Fantastic facility.

This is one class FBO. I have flown into many airports, used many FBOs, and none compares to Wilson. I flew in; my rental car was warmed-up and ready at the end of the wing. The friendly staff greeted me and said they would "take good care of my plane". Everyone was so nice. All this and I was in a single engine Grumman Tiger, not a corporate jet! Thanks Wilson!

I visited Wilson Air on 12/2/06 and their facilities are fantastic. The covered parking is something all first class facilities should have and their FBO size and layout is second to none. The lineman who met us was very helpful and they do give you a discount on fuel if you are an AOPA member. Do not be afraid to fly into the airport because of its size, the controllers are very helpful and communicative. I can't say enough about Wilson, but you will find their facilities top class and in line with Tamiami and Banyan.

Flew in for a quick 20 hours stay. Everything worked, as it should have. Needed a car for the night (5:00pm to 9:00am). They let us use the courtesy car with no extra charge. Very nice place.

We had a good experience here. First time flying to the primary airport inside Class B in a Cessna 172, and had no problems. Arrival and departure were without delay. It was raining when we landed, and it was nice to have the covered ramp area at Wilson Air. The staff at Wilson was friendly and courteous. Gave us a ride to Avis to pick up our rental car. 2 nights tie down was $20, and was not waived with fuel purchase (we also bought $147.00 in fuel). The only disappointment was that Wilson does not sell any charts.

Great great service. PAX was trying to make a connecting flight on Northwest. I called 10 minutes out they had the shuttle ready and waiting. PAX made the flight with 2 minutes to spare. He would not have made it were it not for the great folks at Wilson Air... Thanks again.

Wilson is one of the best FBO's that I have visited to date. I came into Memphis around 6pm on a thursday to do an emergency repair on a computer system for a client of mine. Due to the late hour that I had to leave (around 11pm) I thought best to go into MEM. Great decision, rental car was waiting, they helped load me and unload me, and the red mat was a nice touch. The canopy made a huge difference for my departure as it was raining. Purchased 18 gallons of 100LL for my 172, and was charged nothing else. I also had an easy time getting in and out, I kept my speed up on the ILS, and the controllers appreciated it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND WILSONS.

Very busy airport with lengthy taxi delays, but the folks at Wilson worked very quickly to shorten my stay as best as possible. Very nice FBO, nice big covered parking area !! Will stop in again on my next trip to Memphis !!
