Called twice to get taxi info, no one knew, lineman suggested a company that was no longer in business. Quiet FBO on the weekend, no one present until we started to leave, single person operation. Great restaurant on field, handmade patties!

Nice stop with a good restaurant on the field. Great place for a cross-country refuel of your airplane and stomach!

I was flying back to BMG from a day trip to Put-in-Bay on 7/18, and not only was I in need of gas, but there were some wicked cumulus clouds I was flying right towards! So, I first tried to divert to Anderson, IN, but I couldn't get anyone on the radio. (I guess they close the tower fairly early on Saturday.) So I backtracked a bit and got Muncie on the horn. No issues there; the tower got me down with no issues and directed me to the FBO for gas. Sure enough, the 20% chance of rain turned into a line of storms spanning the whole state! My son and I sat in the wonderfully comfortable lounge while the lineman gassed up my 150 and put her in the hangar as we waited out the storms. They only lasted 20-30 minutes, and we were off. Gas was a bit pricy, but the service and airport were top notch. Didn't have time to check out the restaurant, but I'll definitely be back to try it.

Great FBO and even better restaurant. This stop is a must for pilots looking to get a meal and pit stop during a cross-country commute. Make sure to fill in their pin board with your departure and arrival city; it's pretty cool. We will definitely return to Muncie, even if it means going out of the way.
