With strong T-storms in the area I flew out over the Atlantic and did my best to arrive here before the 8:00PM closing time. I had to take refuge in the plane tieing it down at 7:45 when the storm hit. Amid lightning strikes the refueler drove the truck out, exited, and slid under the plane to attach the tail down. Then Barbara kept the terminal open a half hour as my ride was late. Go out of your way to get here. These folks are The Best. A+++++++++++

Flew into Miller this past weekend to go to LBI, and it was a great experience. I had called ahead for a rental car and was very glad I did. If you are going on a nice weather day during peak season, I would definitely suggest making a reservation ahead of time because Enterprise closes at noon on Saturdays, though the nice folks at Ocean Aire were doing their best to accommodate everyone as much as possible. No landing or day parking fee even without fuel purchase. I'm not sure about an overnight fee.

First class MX service. They know their stuff, and are happy to explain it to you. They go the extra mile. I can't speak to the FBO ops, but as far as MX, these guys are great.

These guys are fantastic...Landed here on a whim, and was treated to a courtesy car and friendly service. This is what all airports/FBO's should be like!

Flew down for an FAA seminar and left the mains on. Got a courtesy car home and ended up keeping it for two days as they installed a new battery. Really first rate through out, no pressure just service. Nice to see an airport expanding with local support.

We fly into Miller often from NC to visit family. What a great crew! We flew in on 12/20 and again were treated, as always, very well! They are accomodating, friendly, and always willing to go that extra mile; and, not to mention the CHEAP gas prices--97 cents cheaper per gallon than my home airport on 12/20/05! We think you guys are great! Thanks for the wonderful service!

I have flown into MJX/Ocean Aire many times. I use MJX when traveling to central NJ/Phila./NYC metro areas. MJX is convenient; Ocean Aire is friendly, capable, and affordable. Full services are available. The only thing they are short on is a big, fancy terminal building. I can live without it. Great staff; knowledgeable, helpful, friendly. Nice crew cars, as well as rental car support from Enterprise and Hertz. One hour from Phila; one hour from the tunnels to NYC; 15 minutes to the beach. I have flown in PNE, TEB, HPN, and find they are slightly more convenient but at a significant cost above MJX. The controllers at McGuire are more friendly and helpful than NYC or Phila (although they are still hampered by NY Center as to how helpful they can be). The only challenge at MJX is the CTAF. It is shared by many airports in the area, and makes it difficult when descending from the flight levels on an IFR flight to figure out what's going on until the very last few minutes of the flight.
