I was in FIT twice in the last week. I've stopped in several times over the last year and I'm always treated like I'm their best Base customer. Andy always goes out of his way to be cordial. Great place. Wonderful people.

Flew into MLB for a few days in my C421. Received friendly service from the FIT workers/students. The FBO has a great location - just walk across the parking lot to the airline terminal for a rental car.

I came from CT to FIT Aviation for their quality flight training. They have met and exceeded any expectations I once had. The employees at the flight line (line services and dispatch) are friendly and will serve you as needed. To those who degrade the school, I don't know what you're talking about.

I found the people behind the desk and lineman to be most helpful. However, the repair people would not make a minor repair on my plane. The good news is that there is a terrific repair facility on the other side of the field called HECK AVATION.

Response from John MceEaney, Maintenance Manager, FIT Aviation
If you are refereed across the field, it is due to the mtx people not having the manuals. this is called being honest.... you will be treated like I would like to be treated, ..... if not, let me know, as I am their boss.By the way, we have very good fuel prices, and maintenance specials ; give us a call!

We used FIT recently on a 3-day business trip with our King Air 300. Very courteous and helpful folks. Their fuel price was as advertised and every courtesy was offered to our aircrafts needs. This comment is not to besmirch their competition across the field. Initially, I selected FIT on fuel price alone and a pleasant phone call prior to the trip. I was pleasantly surprised with what came along with it. SBS N1250

I walked into FIT aviation hoping to pick up a couple of publications required for a flight. I asked a woman at the end of the counter if they had a certain chart, she barked at me that it was not her job and would have nothing to do with me. Several minutes later after I found someone who is apparently trained in the fine art of selling charts, I was informed that they were all out. FIT needs to train their staff to be more courteous to their customers. Maybe also teach them the difficult task of taking money from customers, handing them a product and saying THANK YOU. Is that too much to ask? I would hold short of expecting them to be able to make change, we don't want to overwhelm them.

I flew in today for a business meeting. I found the people at FIT exceptionally courteous. I had use of their crew car and got great directions to my customer. If I get the contract I will use FIT as my FBO in MLB. Thank you FIT.

Recently, I had to divert a flight to the Melbourne airport. While there I used FIT aviation and was extremely impressed with their service. They were not only clean and friendly, but also very helpful with any questions I had. The General Manager Brad was extremely helpful, as he offered me a crew car and directions to near by restaurants, hotels and entertainment. I defiantly recommend FIT aviation to anyone going to the Melbourne area.

From Joel Odom on 02-Jul-2006
My experience with FIT was somewhat unpleasant. First, the place struck me as a bit unfriendly overall (with the notable exception of the very nice lineman). Second, I was unable to access my airplane for about 30 minutes because I arrived before their normal service hours (at 07:00). When I initially told them that I planned on an early departure, they did not say that I would be unable to access my airplane. There was no answer to either of the numbers that I tried for after hours service and the front desk attendant arrived ten minutes late. These kinds of hassles are why I like to fly myself to begin with. I will avoid FIT in the future, or at least until they solve the problem of after hours access.
