I've stopped at Ozona multiple times over the course of the last year. The price for AVGAS has always been at or below the price that I pay at other airports and I've never been charged a ramp fee. The staff has no problem coming out after hours and has always arrived extra early and left late when asked. Mary Jo's friendly and helpful service will keep me coming back here for a long time.

Passed thru on April 18, 2008 flying a Starduster Too from MS to Ca. Did not need gas, but purchased some anyway and oil. Last time I flew thru Ozona was 10 years ago and remember the great folks. Mary Jo is the best. Great seeing you folks again.

We arrived in advance of what looked like it might be some heavy rain and hail. Charles helped us push our new Robinson R44 into a hangar and drove us to a motel across from the Hitching Post (best steak and only bar in town). He picked us up the next day after the weather cleared. He helped us push the helicopter uphill from the hangar to the fuel pump, and then pumped the gas. No charge for the hangar or the rides; the gas was ridiculously cheap. High-speed Internet, but no wireless, in the lounge.
