About Cutter Aviation
Founded in 1928, Cutter Aviation is America's oldest continually family-owned FBO and aviation service company. Cutter Aviation operates at eight major airports in the Southwestern United States. Cutter locations in Arizona (Deer Valley. Phoenix Sky Harbor and Prescott), New Mexico (Albuquerque), Texas (Dallas-Addison, Georgetown and San Antonio) and Colorado (Denver and Colorado Springs) provide a wide range of services to transient and based aircraft including fuel and FBO service, maintenance, avionics, new and pre-owned aircraft sales and charter and aircraft management.
The Phoenix facility is a full-service fixed-base operator.
Looking Back
Continuously family-owned for eight decades, the company originated as Cutter Flying Service Inc. in Albuquerque. William P. Cutter envisioned a business that would serve the fledgling aviation community and the resulting enterprise exceeded his expectations. The company survived the Great Depression, and at the outbreak of World War II became major pilot training facility for the military. In 1947, the company began its long-standing affiliation with Beech Aircraft Corporation. Since that time the Cutter name became synonymous with major and emerging aircraft brands, ranging from piston singles to light and medium turbine aircraft.
Looking Ahead
Over the years, Cutter has maintained a position of leadership in the general aviation community by consistently expanding its services and its locations. Cutter Aviation, Inc. opened its Phoenix operation in 1959. The Deer Valley facility opened in 1997, San Antonio in 1998, Colorado Springs in 2006 and Dallas-Addison in 2013. Cutter remains strong due to an unwavering commitment to customer service, customer and employee satisfaction, and business practices rooted in our core values of respect, trust and integrity.

Amazing experience even though I fly just a little DA40. Have been in a few times before and always great. Follow-me truck met me at the taxiway turnoff, quick fueling, very reasonable prices, and great cookies! The staff is super nice and efficient. Very nice facilities.

Cutter is THE BEST. From helping out with unexpected mechanical problems (Justin is awesome), to being greeted by friendly linemen and CSRs, Cutter does it all well. I would never expect this level of service from a Class B FBO, but Cutter delivers.

I've been to Cutter KPHX before, but on this quick turn, I received an email with a document that I needed to return, signed and notarized. Within minutes, the CSRs had it printed and a notary from their office arrived. I was able to return the document before the Jet A truck pulled away!! The most amazing thing was that the CSRs acted like this was just a normal part of what they do. This could be the best FBO in the country.
