Stopped at Byerly Aviation over Thanksgiving for two nights. I added two passengers for the trip to DPA so I could not purchases fuel. When I was already to go, the girl behind the counter informed me there was a $45.00 handling fee. I'm back to BMI.

A really nice FBO. Very friendly service. I flew in and then had to delay departure thanks to a line of strong storms between Peoria and my destination. The line personnel tied down all the planes outside when they saw the approaching storm. Definitely a level of service above and beyond the call of duty.

Great FBO, asked for 125 gallons, wound up getting overfueled by 35 Gal on one side, beyond our imbalance. Wound up buying another 35 gallons. AVFUEL CONTRACT PRICES are no good unless you buy 300 gallons or more. They did discount for fuel that wasn't wanted.

I come to Peoria frequently and highly recommend Byerly. I have yet to meet anyone that isn't friendly and helpful. Crew cars are available, they are clean and convenient and the 100LL is reasonably priced.

Great FBO. Flew in to fly out on a large airline and they took good care of us even though we were a small Cessna 182. We were only charged $9.00 a day for a tie down but our bill came to $20.00 for 5 days.... They gave us a free crew car for a quick lunch and a shuttle to the terminal. On the way back we left at 1am and there was someone still at the desk more then willing to help. Needed to bring my plane into a heated hangar to get rid of the frost on the wings and did a $5.00 preheat.

Have stopped there four times for fuel and a quick turn on trips between GBD and PTK. Nice FBO with excellent service and friendly staff. Mechanic on duty changed my landing light out on the ramp one cold night for a very reasonable charge.

Spent the day in Peoria and chose KPIA due to location. Byerly has a very nice facility and friendly staff. I topped off my little Piper Arrow and no ramp fee was charged. I used the pilot briefing room and wireless Internet in the lounge. I did not need the crew car or any help with a hotel, etc. I was just there for the day and had someone pick me up. I would recommend them even though the fuel is a bit pricey.

July 1, 2007 Stopped in to Byerly after a long frustrating day dealing with wx. The young lady behind the counter was very helpful getting us set up at the Radisson for the night and the line staff had us gassed up and ready to go the next morning. Choked a bit at the fuel prices but the staff and facilities are excellent.

As an update to my recent post re: high fuel cost and a 20$ ramp fee for 5 MINUTE STOP, a manager from Byerly did read my post, called, apologized, and made things right. Kudos to Byerly. AirNav is read by consumers and FBO's too!!!

I thought a $20 ramp fee for a 5 minute stop in my Malibu and after topping off with 30 gal of high priced fuel was salt in the wound. I'll not be back
