Stopped in for four days. Staff is friendly, but you won't get a true FBO-type service. Lineman seemed shocked when I asked for help with the bags. Asked for aircraft to be fueled when I arrived... when I came back 2 days later to check on it and pay the bill, still hadn't been fueled. Let me stress that this is NOTHING that would keep me from coming back... just a laid back, mellow FBO that ain't quite used to dealing with us KTEB and KSNA type folks... :) I actually look forward to my next visit to Branson!

Two very friendly gentlemen greeted our arrival and promptly tied us down. Jeff Mullins at the Avis counter (located at the FBO) made getting our rental car a snap. All and all a very pleasant visit to Point Lookout. The last thing the guys at the FBO said was, "We want you to come back." Indeed we will!

Flew in for a two-day stay. Tie down fee is ten a day. Avis rent a car is in the building and gave us good service. They even rent Harleys.

I thought I would give this airport a try to fly into Branson. After booking an Enterprise rental car, I gave Enterprise a call and they told me they could not pick me up because the airport wouldn't allow them in without paying fees, if even then. (Travel to/from Enterprise would be just as far anyway.) So I canceled the car and will fly into Harrison, OK as suggested, which will oddly enough be more convenient.

Flew in the evening of Sep 16 stayed until Sep 19. $10 per day. No credit for fuel purchase and no help either tying down or untying. The County has taken over the management of the Airport and has approved a new airport. Looks like they are trying to prepay for the airport by ripping the current customers off. HRO is only a 30 minute drive and they know customer service.
