Signed up for AirNav just so I could share my experience. Flew my little plane in all the way from Arizona just for the Races. Thought about going to Carson City to avoid the fees but called ahead of time and had a fantastic chat with Atlantic so I decided to give them a try. I am sure glad I did. Everything went great, it was easy to get in and out of RNO even with runways and taxiways closed, and the folks at Atlantic sure do know how to make you feel like you're part of their family. There's even a complimentary soda pop machine in the building. I'll be back next year if my wife doesn't leave me and take my plane before then.

What a great experience. Landed for air races and was guided by Ground to park on a taxiway. Staff met me promptly, quickly loaded my bride and me in the shuttle with our bags, and had the aircraft chocked and tied down before we left. After getting dropped off in the beautiful (and very busy lobby) I asked for the best way to get to the Circus Circus hotel downtown, and to my delight, Atlantic offered me a ride. From landing to standing in my hotel room was only 35 minutes. After a great few days at the Air Races we called the night before for a ride and the General Manager himself came to pick us up from the hotel at 5 in the morning. Yet another pleasant surprise when checking out when we discovered that we were able to get $0.45 a gallon off of our 100LL as Air Race attendees. In nearly 40 years of flying I have never seen such a well-oiled machine. You'd never know this was the only FBO on the field by the way they act. Great job!

LOOK OUT - shady extra fees! Atlantic added a $185 "event fee" on top of a $160 fuel ticket since Burning Man was going on the prior week and it "makes them busy so this offsets the extra cost" according to the desk employee. WTF!?!? In years of flying I've never seen an FBO gouge ALL aircraft like this - even those completely unrelated to whatever event might be causing them extra traffic. What happens if you happen to stop in at KRNO during air races at Stead? Auto show downtown? Etc? Will Atlantic screw everyone with this feeble excuse? Atlantic never warned me about this price gouging in the reservation confirmation e-mail, via NOTAM, or on arrival unit we had already been fueled. Total scam artists - take your business elsewhere!
From Zachary Smith on 05-Sep-2019

$185 'special event fee' on top of typical fees, lackluster service inside, and a completely disorganized ramp. Requested a GPU, which never showed, fortunately with time to make sure we weren't charged. The Wi-Fi has notably improved from the comments below.

Horrible experience. I too received the so called "event fee" for Burning Man. I was traveling for business and had no affiliation with this event. I was not notified of the fee upon arrival, only found out about it after my stay and was given an invoice. I was then informed that any Atlantic has the right to enforce an event fee at anytime and if I would've called in for the fees they would've told me. I did call in for the fees the week prior and there was no mention of event. Avoid Atlantic. Apparently any location charge event fees with no notice at will.
From Kyle Hatch on 28-Aug-2019

Stopped in for some lunch in a small single piston. Found out because Burning Man is going on, they tack on a $75 "event fee". The event isn't even close to Reno! They said it's a non-waivable fee too and all aircraft get charged it even if you're not there for the event. Was also told if I decided to just hop back in and leave to a nearby airport, they'd still charge the event fee ($75) and the ramp fee ($40) and the security fee ($15). If stopping in the Reno area, I highly advise looking at nearby airports.
From Pete Zaitcev on 17-Jun-2019

Very good service at Reno, no hang-ups. Fees for Mooney were $35 ($20 parking, and $15 "security fee"). One note of caution though, the tie-down space is very limited. I had to leave the airplane in the parking overnight.
From Daniel Wallace on 24-Jul-2018

Go there a couple times a year and I'm always impressed. Really take good care of you.
From Shari Meyer on 30-May-2018

Called today to see about stopping for 2 hours to have lunch with our son in Reno. $185 ramp fee for our 4-seat Eclipse Jet. But they said it would only be $95 if we could be done in 20 minutes!
From Suraj Nagaraj on 11-Apr-2018

Always a pleasant experience with Atlantic. They really welcome everyone regardless of airplane type. The people behind the desks are great, always accommodating and making us feel welcome. Crew cars have always been available for us and when I needed rental, itís been available. Overall a 5* experience.

I spoke with Patrick about our dissatisfaction with the previous report and he has refunded our payment and promises to do better next time.
From Brent Young on 22-Oct-2017

This FBO desperately needs help. One line guy!! We finally had to leave with no services provided except running of the credit card $550 for 3 days on ramp. No coffee, no ice no nothing. Can't even get a fuel truck. If I ever come back I'll tanker fuel to go somewhere else
From Dave Simon on 22-Sep-2017

The staff is outstanding, but the internet service is slow and in most cases will not connect to devices. Please fix this!
From Andrew Patry on 03-Sep-2017

Service has always been decent. This time I happened to get hosed a special event fee, $75. One would think paying a premium for fuel compared to the surrounding area with be enough, nope. I always made Reno a good overnight stop, I will plan differently with future trips. I asked about air races, they plan on charging the same fee during that Event. I can see why everyone goes to Carson City and uses the shuttle to stead.
From Matthew VanDervort on 12-Jun-2017

I wasn't able to make it through Donner Pass so I went to KRNO, for hotel availability. Robert and the rest of the crew were amazing!!! I was in a little Piper Tri-Pacer and they went just as far out of their way for me as if I was stopping in with a 737! I couldn't have been more pleased with the service and accommodations!
From Earl Kessler on 09-Jun-2017

Even though this is a huge national firm, you would never know by the way you are treated. It's like a family here. The entire staff bends over backwards to accommodate you. Everything from custom coffee, free fountain drinks, fresh fruit and spotless and luxurious facilities make this one of the nicest experiences. The pilot lounge, sleep rooms, crew cars and passenger lounge are all new and top quality. This place is worth the detour.
