Parked at ROC for the day to visit preemie grandkids...No other practical choice. Line service was fast and efficient, pleasant and helpful, despite other experiences on this site. They waived the parking fee, even though I only bought 10 gallons, since I topped up my small tanks (Grumman Tiger). The lineman even made a playful joke that Grumman owners are as odd as their airplanes (true!) I used to live in Rochester, and it is a typical New York State town.... Expensive taxes everywhere. So the airport is no different. It's New York.... Get over it! They have a lot of money tied up in snow clearing gear........ ;-) Landing fee is a County fee, not an FBO fee.

Cleared US Customs on my way home from CYTZ. Bill for 15 minutes on ramp.... $42.46. $12.46 landing fee and $30.00 ramp fee. If you buy at least 20 gals. @ 5.56/gal. Fees waived. Next time, I'll clear Customs elsewhere.

Came in on a Sunday morning for a luncheon meeting on the RIT campus. Prices and fees were as advertised (a bit high but it's the only game in town). Sarah behind the desk was cheerful and very helpful - arranged for a shuttle to and from campus (a pleasant and unexpected surprise that helped offset the cost).

We just spent 2 nights here with our RV-7A and in general were very satisfied with their service. Parking is at their main terminal and tiedowns are about a half-mile away, but their line folks shuttled us back and forth and it was a non-issue. Lineman and customer service was just fine. Granted fuel is pricey. Our tiedown fee was $25 for the stay plus a $5.00 landing fee.

Despite previous comment... I was tagged with a $30 RAMP FEE. Linemen are friendly, the woman at the desk complete opposite.

I parked my C182 with USAirports East facility (the one GA Aircraft are expected to use) and had a good experience. No tie-downs, but they did triple chock the airplane. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the only extra fee I got on my gas bill was from the airport, not the FBO! ($10.21 Landing Fee).

Landed my Cessna 172 at ROC two weeks ago. Gusty winds. They wanted me to park my C172 on wide ramp by the FBO. There are expensive jets parked everywhere. Since there are NO tie-downs available on the ramp, I asked by radio if I could park in the wide-open tie down area, they said yes. I thought I was being helpful since I did all the work. When I departed they advised me that there was a $25/day additional charge for using the tie downs! I guess they are content in leaving your plane out on the open ramp where the wind could cause some real $$$ expensive damage! I was upset that they charged me (without prior notice) for simply putting a rope on my plane and preventing a serious hazard. RIP OFF Fee!

A couple of changes have occurred since my last visit - USAirports now provide service out of the east facility on the GA ramp, and the landing fee has been raised to $10.38 (I assume by the county). If I counted correctly, there were seven line employees on the ramp when I arrived which could perhaps go some way to explain the $5.23/gal. For 100LL! Despite a request not to do so, they overfilled a tank and expelled fuel onto the ground through the vent. On the positive side, the overnight ramp fee was waived with the fuel purchase.

US Airports has taken over Landmark Aviation and is now the only game in town. Would recommend calling ahead to inquire about all fees and fuel costs. Have heard rumors that US Airports is not to GA friendly with this monopoly.

I just spent 3 days there. I had an alternator failure above a cloud deck 12 miles from KROC. The controllers were very helpful and got me down on the ILS, firetrucks all lined up. The guys at USAirports were great. It was a hard alternator to find, but they called everywhere and had a replacement shipped in overnight. Although they work mainly on turbojets, they got the work done as soon as it arrived and I was on my way. They FBO was able to get me a crew rate for a hotel and a car was on site to rent. Class A operation all around.

Great experience! Everybody is very pleasant, polite, professional, and made sure you really felt welcomed, from the line personnel to the front desk and maintenance as well (we needed nitrogen in one tire - very quick service). Highly recommended!!!

This was my Third stop on a multi-city (KHSV, KRIC, KROC, KOWB) trip, KHSV and KOWB were fuel stops. I've created reviews in each of the location to describe my FBO experience for pilot reference. My Type aircraft is a Cirrus SR22. My experience at KROC USAirports was mixed. Good as the staff was friendly and professional. Good as the facilities were very acceptable. Bad as I was charged $2.75 landing fee, $15 per night tie down and the fuel price was higher than any of my previous stops. My personal opinion is this is not a very GA friendly FBO compared to others I've visited on this trip and others. But it looks like this area is very limited as far as full facility airports compared to other states I've visited. I recommend this FBO if you are comfortable with the additional fees.

I flew in a single engine 11PM and left the next morning. Friendly staff, but I needed no services, yet just being on the ramp overnight was $32.50 --OUCH! I could buy 15 gallons to have $15 of it waived but the gas was $2/gal more expensive than elsewhere I looked. So in the future I will land at a surrounding airport and get a ride, rent a car, or get a cab. Since I was the only single engine on the ramp I think I was late on the uptake.

Had to re-route to KROC from Waterville, Maine due to wx. Chose USAirports due to Landmark's bad rep. Nicole at USA took complete care of us. Waived all fees as we filled up tanks. Booked us a room at a discount for the evening, and arranged full, round-trip transportation. If you want service, USAirports will do it. If you want to pinch pennies--find an unattended airport.

I had to visit ROC for my annual FAA DPE meeting and parked on the NW ramp as usual. When it came time to leave, I was told there was a $15 parking fee and a $2.25 landing fee. The facility manager came out when I challenged the fee, as I had never been charged before, and he asked if I bought fuel. I said no, and he said they should charge me a $50 ramp fee!! These guys are really trying to kill GA.

Excellent service here. Kudos to the deicing crew. They knew how to get the job done right and quickly enough so that we were able to depart without issue. Their experience with the typical lake effect weather was evident.

I diverted to KROC when ceilings were too low to land at Ledgedale. I knew that the fuel would be more, but it was probably not worth moving my plane the next day for the cheap gas. I asked about the overnight fees and was told that the $15/night charge was waived for a fuel purchase. However, when I checked out, I was told that an additional $15 facilities charge was waived, but I was charged for the overnights. Not Cool.

Flew Seneca in to see family. No help or attention from line guys arriving or departing. Filled tanks with 100LL @ $4.86 per Gallon. $4.25 landing fee. $20 per night for parking outside, they did NOT tie down plane. $25 "access fee" No clue what this is. Surly and slow counter service. Did not offer to bring plane to FBO for loading.

Their services are above and beyond. I accidentally left some important papers at the FBO when I departed. They traced me from info in the papers, and subsequently arranged for a next day shipment to me in Maine. Great Service.

On June 19, I barely landed before a severe thunderstorm after diverting from a fuel stop at Brockport NY. Wind gust hit close to 60mph with heavy rain and lightning. Yet, USAirports ground crew were standing in a driving rain with surrounding lightning prepared to park me close in front of a hangar where they would later push me into a hangar out of this severe weather so we could deplane. The ground crew was soaked. They had done far more than I would have. With the lightning, it was dangerous. One of my passengers was an 89-year-old man on oxygen with a wheel chair on board. Only way we could get him off was carry him off the old P-Navajo. I just want to use this spot to thank a professional and courteous ground crew at USAirports for going way beyond their duty for me.

Had an enjoyable visit in Rochester with USAirports staff. Left the plane on their ramp overnight. Didn't need fuel but had great service and no extra ramp charges. Great price on rental (crew) car. Will use them again next time.
