This was my 2nd extended WX visit. Great facility and even better people. Bobby Day took me to the motel and picked me up the next morning. This is the PERFECT GA AIRPORT! THANKS, KRUE

Great stop! Flew down from Branson with a non-pilot, non-flying, somewhat skeptical passenger for a scenic flight to check out the autumn color. Got the tour of the beautiful new terminal and enjoyed super friendly service. Was given use of (Bobby's?) personal car for lunch as crew car was out. Had a great lunch at Madame Wu's (highly recommended). Passenger was impressed with customer service and friendliness of everyone, if not my crosswind skill.... RUE is a great example of how GA will survive.

Nice terminal, good friendly people, nice facility. And still being improved, I was weathered in there Saturday. Snack/Soda machine was stocked. Good place to be stuck at if ya gotta.

We stopped in Russellville on our way west. We found the service exceptional and the fuel prices very good. We got a tour of the new terminal building as well. I would recommend RUE for a great fuel stop.

Working my way towards Chicago I stopped in last Sunday to fill up with the cheapest fuel in the area. Let me use the car for food at the Cracker barrel while the line guy filled my plane. Nice service.

This is a great place to stop. Clean facilities, friendly and helpful folks. Currently under a lot of rwy/tw construction, when complete should be very nice. Fuel prices best around, however FS only, so call ahead to be sure attended. Rental car waiting at airport when we arrived and dropped off Sunday evening, all outside business hours. These folks know how to run an efficient and community minded airport. Will DEFINITELY return either as a destination or fuel stop when ever in this area. Thanks!

Flew in for a $100 hamburger. A thunderstorm was approaching so I asked if they could tie down my airplane while I was gone. They said they would put in the hangar till the storm blew over. When I came back they charged me $10 to use the hangar for less than two hours. I guess kindness to strangers comes at a price.
Response from Bobby L. Day, Airport Manager, Russellville Regional Airport The comments below by Mr. Chin are factually correct. Here are some more facts. Mr. Chin was advised of a severe thunderstorm warning and an approaching thunderstorm before he left the field in our courtesy car headed for a place to eat. He was OK with leaving his plane untied down in transient parking. When the gust front hit, he called and asked us to take care of his plane. We had two people involved opening and closing large hangar doors and towing his plane with the bad weather already upon us. I then called and left a voice mail on his unanswered cell phone to advise him that he could enjoy his meal in peace, his plane was inside. Opinion; This was a valuable service provided at his request and cheap at $10.

Arrived after hours in late April. Very accommodating folks. My wife, at home, arranged with the FBO that they would let me use the Courtesy Car overnight. The key was just were they said it would be. I was gone early the next morning before I could thank anyone. Terminal is accessible after hours with key code. Did not purchase fuel.

My family and I were taking a trip from Mobile, AL to Fayetteville, AR over the Memorial Day weekend. As the ceiling began to come down, we decided to land at Russellville to wait out the weather. Bobby Day, the airport manager was immediately helpful with our situation. He recommended car rentals, hotels, and local sights to see and provided a courtesy car for a couple of hours. In about two hours, the weather cleared enough for us to continue. I would positively recommend not only the local airport, but the local area as well. The area is scenic and would be worth a stop for a weekend. We will be back.

I stopped at RUE in late January for fuel while ferrying a Pawnee to New Mexico. The folks at RUE were just great! When I planned my flight from DRO to CHA in a Ximango motorglider I recently purchased I planned to stop overnight at RUE. Once again I was very pleased. Bill the manager helped my park my bird, quickly fueled me up and while I was gathering my things he called and arranged a room for me at the local Holiday Inn and a ride to the hotel. The Holiday Inn, although an older one, was very accommodating also. The restaurant at the hotel had a great salad bar and the local grown catfish was excellent. The next morning I was treated to a complementary breakfast and the Holiday Inn paid for the taxi ride back to the airport. I highly recommend a stop here if you are in the area!

C-172 - Nice no frills stop. In town for business meeting. Taxi ride to the Fairfield Inn was about $14.00 same for the Hampton Inn. Could not get a rental car on the weekend or at least on Sunday. Overall good experience. Bill the Manager was very accommodating and friendly.
