Great view and great people! First time to Sedona. Not as intimidating as I imagined. Lots of Heli traffic! Interesting history on the walls showing the development of the airport.

Another good experience as I topped off my PC12. Pleasant, friendly people and very good prices. I also learned that on Saturday mornings until 2PM they are providing all fuel purchase customers a 20 cent per gallon discount. Keep up the good work, you are my favorite airport! Tom Z

I had been to Sedona a lot of times with different airplanes and always found people at Red Rock Aviation very friendly and efficient; it is not a fancy facility with red carpet like a Signature, but their fuel prices are very reasonable and you don't get hit with ramp fees if you don't buy fuel. Sedona has become my home airport now and I love it here.

Nice airport and the guys at Sky Trek Tours gave us some valuable advice on flying over/around the Grand Canyon. Our plane was refueled as we requested on our return, but don't expect any help with parking, carrying baggage, etc.

Stopped twice in the past week, I'd say previous comments remain valid - friendly folks, beautiful location, decent fuel price...But not the place to stop if you are on a schedule - never mind that I called ahead to verify I could get fuel. After landing I was told that he opened at 6, he never said I could get fuel at 6..

Flew up to SEZ today 8-9-09 in a Saratoga with a flight instructor. Had a great lunch at the restaurant there and noticed the Red Rock Bi-plane tours Waco was sitting right out side. We went through the security gate and walked out to the plane to look at it. Some guy that obviously works for these guys screamed over "don't touch that plane" we were six to eight feet behind the plane and looking from there. To boost his obviously damaged ego I said "Oh no we won't touch it we are just looking". He screamed again "you better not touch that plane". Do what you want but I will not use their services. Unfortunately for them I belong to two clubs in Phoenix and fly out of Deer Valley, and hang out at one of the major flight schools with Charter services. Do yourself a favor avoid these people, Sedona is too beautiful to let some guy ruin your trip.

Stayed in Sedona on 08/03/2009 for one night. The FBO was reliable in filling up the plane, but it would have been nice for someone to come and help us with the luggage instead of wondering if someone actually did attend the airport. Other than that it was a good experience. N17386.

Although I have visited the area by way of Flagstaff, I elected to land in Sedona this time due to the milder temperatures in winter. Upon arrival at approx 1700hrs, I found that the Hertz vehicle I had a confirmation number on wasn't there, nor had it been. I called corporate and found the rant useless and now was stranded...Overhearing my plight Tom of Red Rock suggested using the services of Airport Rental Cars of Sedona stationed right there at the Terminal. After a brief conversation with Eric and Joe (who stayed late), I was on my way at a rate that beat the Hertz AOPA non-deal. I found all the people of the businesses in the Terminal extremely helpful and that makes Sedona the destination it is...Great airport and the view.

I visited the Sedona airport on Sept. 1st and as always a great place to fly into. I needed fuel this time and nobody was at the FBO desk. We found one of the Red Rock employees and asked him for fuel he said ok and rushed off never to be seen again. Then we asked another employee he said to no problem he would take care of it. We then waited just over 30 minutes and never saw another employee. After 40 minutes we decided to leave and get fuel at Prescott. I'm heading to Sedona again this weekend hopefully the service is better for couple in a small plane.

Blew a couple of tires on landing; Red Rock Aviation and Sky Safari (Capt Mark and A&P Lance) were very helpful in getting my tires changed and back in the air. This is certainly a place I will come back to (with new tires, of course).

I'd been to Sedona years ago on a motorcycle and remember it being one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. So, when we were flying home from Las Vegas to Arkansas we made a lunch stop there. The runway can be challenging - not for low-time pilots if there's much of a breeze - but what a view! This is just a "must-stop" destination. Red Rock FBO was very busy, but they did a great job handling the fuel order and everything was ready when we got back from lunch. We'll come back for a longer visit soon.

KSEZ is about as perfect a GA airport as there is. The setting is beautiful and right in town. Red Rock Aviation provides friendly and efficient service, as does the on-site car rental agency. The on-field restaurant isn't bad, either. Only problems: density altitude can get up there, with high terrain in most directions. Also, very "iffy" in bad weather, as the only IAP, a GPS approach has a 1400-foot MDA. Fortunately, the weather is usually good. All in all, a great fly-in destination.

Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for 2 nights and were happy with the service at Red Rock. On a side note - The Sky Ranch motel is a very affordable place to stay (don't bother to spend the extra $$$ for a view room though). It is an $80 a night motel with mediocre rooms. The price is right for what it is but don't expect it to compete with the fancy places.

Stopped in for two nights. Tie-down was reasonable and easy. They had the plane topped off when we got back. Very friendly and easy to deal with.

Dramatic, wonderful place to visit. Folks at the FBO are friendly and helpful. Costs are low and services are limited; this is a country airport. Don't miss this stop. The approach takes care since airport is on a mesa with higher mountains near by.

One of the most scenic and beautiful airports in the US. Line service was excellent (friendly and professional), Jet-A was reasonable, and the restaurant on the field was great after a long flight.

Red Rock is great! They stayed late (with an after hours fee of course) to help us secure the aircraft for the overnight. Good friendly people. Wish they had a GPU.
