Still not able to sell fuel. What the heck is up with city government interfering with free enterprise? Ranger Aviation sent a truck over and filled the plane up, but what's going on? The owner is really nice, and we have already used his FBO to meet up with dog rescue people on 2 occasions when picking up dogs from the San Angelo shelter.

Dropped off a Grace Flight passenger at Skyline today. Talked with Dave about his situation. Dave is a valued FBO. San Angelo city management needs to realize and understand his valued contributions to general aviation and not undermine his business. Dave's contributions benefit San Angelo's economy and public image.

I was truly saddened to learn that the city of San Angelo has shut down Dave's fuel sales. They have basically put Skyline out of business. I have been stopping in SJT for years. Mainly for the great service and good fuel prices at Skyline. Without the Gossett's selling fuel, it isn't as nice a stopover as it was before. I met with Dave just last week and his frustration and heartbreak is truly evident. He really appreciates all of us that have been customers over the years. I will still give him a call before I leave the Valley to see if they are allowed to sell fuel again. If so, then I will stop in SJT. Otherwise I'll take my big thirsty twin Cessna 421 somewhere else. I plan to write a note to the city council and tell them of my disappointment. I ask any of you who have had the good fortune to be customers of the Gossett's to do the same.

Outstanding service direct from the owners. Was offered the crew car for a quick trip to Packsaddle BBQ - some of the best in Texas. Great stop. Highly recommended.

Stopped here east and west bound on a long trip for Jet-A and found these folks very friendly and fast along with the terrific price for fuel. Cookies, popcorn, clean facilities and good hospitality abound.

I am a student pilot temporarily in San Angelo for military training. Skyline Aviation made me feel right at home. Dan their flight instructor is a very educated CFII, and was a blast to fly with. Dave the owner is very friendly and always has a great story to share. I wish I had more time to work on flying while I was in San Angelo. Hope to get back and visit one day as a certified private pilot.

Very friendly service, as others have indicated. They offered us a courtesy car (we had a ride) and insisted on taking us out to our 172 in the golf cart. Be aware that the other FBO tried to guide me in, although I announced on ground that I was looking for Skyline.

As always, Dave Gossett and his wife go out of their way to make you feel like you are one of their family. On my recient trip to and from Colorado with my brothers and sister (for our mother's 80th b-day) we stopped in. James met us at the plane with cold bottles of water and they loaned us the golf cart to go down to the terminal for lunch while James filled our plane (with the "self-serve"). We were in line for fuel and he pulled the plane up and then set it back on the flight line while we were at lunch. They even packed up a bunch of Otis Spunkmeyer cookies for us to take to my Mom. Fuel prices are high everywhere, but when you get the care and true customer appreciation that has always been consistant at Skyline, it doesn't hurt as much. Thanks Y'all!

Flew into San Angelo today for a meeting and got excellent service from James and Dave! Even though it was self-serve fuel, James went ahead and fueled the plane for us which was terrific. I will definitely be returning to Skyline on my next visit to SJT!

I am not yet a pilot but am considering starting training. I live in San Angelo, Texas and started researching training and instruction in this area. I stumbled upon Skyline Aviations website. I was impressed with all the positive feedback. I decided to call and see if I could stop by and get some information. Mr. Gossett answered the phone and invited me out, even though he was the only person working at the time. I met Mr. Gossett at Skyline, and he truly is one of the nicest people. I know I asked him at least a million and one questions and he answered all he could. When some customers came in, he politely excused himself to take care of them. After taking care of the customers he came back to me for some more Q&A. He let me check out the Cessna 172 I would be training in also. I have made up my mind that I WILL start my training as soon as I am able, and I WILL be training at Skyline Aviation. Thank You Mr. Gossett and I look forward to working with you soon.

Service was excellent. Nice mini-van used as crew car. 100LL price was $5.87 on large sign beside fuel pump. That was for serve your self. It was a hot day, but the a/c felt nice.

After the left engine on my TwinStar failed over Central Texas, I dropped into San Angelo not knowing what type of services I would have available -- Skyline Aviation exceeded my expectations. James with Skyline met me on the taxiway with a tow tractor while the lineman from the other FBO was still trying to flag my disabled plane from a golf cart. My plane was AOG with Skyline for the next thirteen days during which Dave and Melody (owners) along with James and Robbie were exceptionally accommodating and hospitable hosts. They provided me a courtesy car, arranged accommodations, and provided my visiting mechanic all the support and shop services necessary to fix my engine. After my plane was repaired, all Dave charged me was for the JET-A and some hangar time. They have a clean and comfortable pilot lounge, lobby, dining area, and flight planning room. Dave Gossett answers the phone 24-hours a day. There is no reason to go anywhere else when visiting San Angelo, Texas!

Arrived after midnight, night before Thanksgiving. David was such a great guy, left the courtesy car for us to get to hotel. Even let us keep it over the holiday when we tried to return it and rent one. What a great guy. This is where you want to come, when you're looking for great folks. Please stop here, not the other place. You 'll find out why when you do. Thanks David, will be back.

Great service. Owner went out of his way to help when we arrived after 8 hrs of flying and hear his closing time. Let us have the courtsey car overnight, got us a room in the nearby hotel. Gas prices very good. Push us in the hangar for the night. Very nice folks. Facility not that great, but the staff make up for that in large measure. If going that way, I'd definitely stop again.

Great gas prices and service. Facilities a little short, although we were told there was a lounge upstairs that we didn't see. They were doing some work on the lobby however. Very accommodating. Offered courtesy car. Good flight planning room. Gas advertised as self-service, but when we arrived and I mentioned something about self-service, lineman replied, "I'm self". Would highly recommend.

Stopped in San Angelo due to bad weather in Kerrville. What a nice airport with very helpful controllers. When we pulled up to the self-serve the line guy was there to help with the fueling. Very clean FBO with a very helpful owner. Let us use a golf cart to go to the restaurant in the terminal building. Loved the warm freshly baked cookies.

Skyline is a great place. The folks there are always willing to help out and are ready to do whatever it takes. We go in and out of SJT fairly often and will be coming more in the future, and I don't have plans on changing our FBO of choice, Skyline.

I found myself in a hotel in town that had no shuttle service. I called Skyline and explained my dilemma. Dave said he would bring his personal car and pick me up. Ten minutes later he arrived and brought me back to Skyline. This is REAL customer service. I could only wish that all FBOs were this friendly! Jay

This FBO sets a standard for service and personnel like few others I have had the pleasure to visit. Friendly and attentive, good fuel price, nice facilities. Due to their generosity with the crew car and outright kindness, I am switching my business to Skyline Aviation.

I do aerial survey work and am not used to getting any help from FBOs because they don't understand my needs. These folks were awesome. The guys here anticipated every need and even supplied my pilot and I with crackers and water since we were going to miss lunch. They were just superb, the best FBO I've ever been to. It's obvious that they care about good business. I'd go out of my way to give them repeat business just for their service.
