Anyone know of Bill Orr or Frank Gossett? They were around in the 70's...I was wondering if anyone knew of their whereabouts.

On May 3, I landed at SPA as the destination for an Angel Flight. The line person fueled me fast so I could beat bad weather out and head back home. But the weather got there first! The lineman put my plane in their hangar! The folks were mighty nice. It is sure my choice for that area from now on.

Jeanette was extremely helpful to me last week for a non-aviation related activity.

Friendly place, quick service... Came in on IFR flight plan; was told by ATC that the VOR-B App. Has been out of service for two years now, but it is still in the plates.

The FBO was as described by the other members. Great hospitality, reasonable prices, and friendly service. I would recommend this FBO enthusiastically. I used the crew car (free) to get lunch. Topped off and continued north. I wish all FBOs were this friendly and welcoming.
