Came for Thanksgiving. The FBO was closed for a few days, including the day I arrived. The next morning we went for a day trip there was a charter King Air leaving and Matt was there. He graciously helped with getting the substantial frost off of our plane as well as fueled us up so we didn't have to make an additional fuel stop. He didn't even have to be there, let alone help us. He arranged a hangar for us for the rest of our stay. Nice facilities and runways...you can tell this airport used to be host to an actual airline. We will be here again.

I made a stop in Spencer on 7/24/2009 while on my way to OSH. The runway and taxiways are in excellent condition. Although the pump weren't self-service the attendant was prompt and helped. When I asked if there way a way to get to town to get some supper, without a second thought he offer to let me use his truck. I would highly recommend stopping for fuel if you in the area.

Great Service on the ground! Nice Terminal, clean restrooms, pilot lounge comfortable w/ TV. Flt Planning area w/ Computer/s & Printer. Crew Car very adequate. Complements to Matt for great service. T-storm approached and he hangared the Bonanza w/out orders. Try 3 Sisters Cafe on Main Street in Spencer for breakfast.

Had a trip scheduled to arrive in the evening and was planning to overnight, made hotel reservations but then could not for the life of me get any ground transportation! We are going to press on to our next stop where the FBO has no problem getting us to the hotel.
