This is a follow up on my comments from a few weeks ago. The facility manager did follow up with me and told me that Signature had no corporate policy regarding compassion flights but that in the future he would ensure that such flights using STL would have such fees waived. I never heard back from Signature Corporate.
From Jerrold Seckler on 12-Jul-2017

I arrived in STL on an Angel Flight. The lineman escorted my passenger into the terminal and I brought her baggage. After turning the minor passenger over to her guardian I was told the fee was $85! $25 for the landing fee, $55 "facility fee" and $5 for infrastructure. I asked whether any of those fees were waived for Angel Flights and was informed they were not. I asked to speak with the facility manager who did waive all but the city landing fee. I asked him to check corporate policy on Angel Flights and he told me he would get back to me by e-mail. So far I've heard nothing. I was under the impression that Signature corporate policy waived facility fees for compassion flights. I have e-mailed Signature about this but have not yet heard back. I don't mind reasonable fees but $55 to park a single engine piston for 15 minutes seems absurd.

Stopped in to pick up a friend arriving commercially. Signature sent a shuttle to pick him up while I chatted with the line guys about the history of the airport. Nice facilities and a great view of the airport while you're waiting.

Nice facilities. Expensive. FBO collects $7.50 landing fee for single engine. FBO charges $5 "infrastructure fee". FBO also charges $46 "handling fee", waived with purchase of 7 gal of gas at $7/gal.

First visit to KSTL and Signature. Yes, it's expensive but it's the only FBO available. The line crew was professional and friendly. Inside the FBO the staff was very welcoming. I've got to compliment them on their entire operation. Good job everyone. Thanks.

Had a maintenance issue on taxi out with passengers and Joy did a phenomenal job coordinating everything we and our passengers needed throughout the day while we tried to come up with a solution. She stayed very busy throughout the day and have everyone the same excellent service!

Flew a light sport in to drop off a passenger and spend the night. Treated very well (which does not always happen in a very little airplane). Everyone from the controllers to the line guys were great. Total cost for the night was less then I would have expected at a "big airport", $100.24. I would happily go back again.
