I have stopped several times. 1st with an Aztec and now with a Cheyenne I. Service is consistently excellent with a friendly family attitude. I highly recommend.

My friends and I stopped here for fuel in the midst of a long cross-country. Very inviting FBO! The crew was efficient and friendly, and they had a sweet old American Airlines DC-3 you could get checked out and rated in. Must go back with Dad's credit card...

Shelbyville is what all-small town FBOs should be. Helpful smiling folks, comfortable facility good prices. We called ahead and the nice crew car was waiting and directions to the restaurant were printed out for us. Several great nearby non-chain restaurants for the adventurous. We will be back.

We stopped for fuel and found some of the friendliest, most qualified aviators we'd met in a long time. Also, the low advertised price goes even lower with quantity discounts.

Excellent stop on a trip from South Carolina to Oklahoma. The service was fast and friendly. 100LL was $1.20 less than the average price on the route, and they pump it!!!

I would sincerely like to thank Ron, Hank and the whole staff at Shelbyville (KSYI) for all of their help, professional and courteous dedication for setting the standard for what a FBO should be! They finished my flight training in 3 days while enroute to Germany. They worked with me and helped me finish my pilots certificate when 4 other local airports went on Thanksgiving Vacation. I deeply appreciate them bending over backwards to help me is such a short time frame. Sincerely, Rick

Shelbyville deserves a blue ribbon. During nearly 40 years of flying, I have seldom found an FBO as friendly as this one. Besides having great fuel prices, they have a nearby restaurant which is a real treat. They'll be happy to furnish a crew car so you can get there. Also easy in and easy out VFR or IFR.

What a great stop. Great service and cheap fuel. Plus the Nissan is a thrill to drive for a crew car!!! A must stop if in the area. No traffic to worry about, no radar vectoring, just simple.

Still an awesome stop! Cheap gas, friendly folks, great service, clean facilities, robust planning room, Internet access, and a clean courtesy van to go to the Bell Buckle Cafe. Keep up the great work we'll be back!

Same positive experience as described by others. Nice FBO with park-like area next to office. $.10 discount if you mention AirNav, and a good price regardless. DC-3 was parked on tarmac. Recommended hotel worked out well, as did the steakhouse next door to the hotel. Will stop here again.

This is a great Airport surrounded by some beautiful Horse Farms. Nice gas prices with a very friendly FBO. They gave us the courtsey car and directions to wonderful Cafe for lunch. Hope to attend one of their fly-in breakfasts soon. Be sure to checkout the Arion Aircraft manufacturing facility on the field.

Flew into the airport to get some fuel on my flight back to Atlanta...What a great spot. Excellent fuel prices along with a great shady area outside the FBO with relaxing hardwood rocking chairs.... So comfortable after hours in the plane!!

From Pat Stallings on 01-Apr-2007
This is a great little airport, complete with rocking chairs to sit and visit. Gas isn’t bad, paid $3.39, no tie down fees. This plus the friendly courteous service provided by Bill made our visit with my brother and his family even better. My brother picked us up so can't speak of availability of transportation or meals.
