Stopped by after my fiasco at Claxton-Evans County on 12/22/08. They had a line guy out there to park me and offered to either fuel me or self serve for the same price, got lunch, relaxed for a bit and headed out. This is how a small town FBO should be run, will be back again, thanks.

We had a quick fuel stop here traveling from KISM to KPVG. Nice facility, nice people.

Flew in on a C210 on a weekday morning. Very nice facility, especially for a small field. Prompt service from the lineman and a courtesy car was available to get breakfast (many food options within a five minute drive). Internet access, cozy pilot lounge and clean building. Hope to stop by again!

I stopped in Statesboro on my way from the northeast for fuel. The fuel price was cheap and the self-serve worked but I could not get a receipt. I had to start up and taxi to the new terminal/FBO building. The immobile young man behind the desk could not get me a receipt but he promised to fax me one when his boss came in. It's been a week and no receipt. Too bad, it's an attractive new building but really with no facilities. They could use some food and line service.
