South Bay is great. Richard does what he can to help you out. Often he has to mediate between unreasonable owners (prblmcre8r and the owner of 7262Y) and frequent renters, but he does his best to be fair. Thank you South Bay for offering the largest selection of aircraft for rent at some of the most reasonable prices in the LA area.

I have only been involved in Aviation for a year but I been in the customer service business for years and I must say that Richard and all the staff at Southbay Aviation are top notch. From getting my private to now owning my own plane I have received nothing but excellent service. Also for anyone interested in learning to fly or upgrading their rating you won't find a more accommodating instructor than Chris Weinholdt.

I have known Richard Seals and South Bay Aviation since I started my Cessna ground school in 2001. He and his people are the best in the business. I continue to use their services and continue to pursue my own license. I particularly enjoy the 3 Katanas he has in his fleet.

I would like to recognize South Bay flight instructor Chris Wienholt. Never have I worked with someone so willing to bend over backwards and go above and beyond to help me succeed. From staying many late nights when he could have been home with his family, but instead helping me with night flying, to squeezing in that extra hour of ground training in between his already crammed schedule during the day, this man made sacrifices that amounted next to none. Not only Chris, but the entire South Bay flight instruction staff was EXTREMELY helpful in getting me the real world training I needed to blast away my FAA examiner on the first try. I must have worked with 5 different instructors, each offering their own opinions and strategies. You all know who you are, and thank you. Richard Seals only employs the best, and I hope to work for him as soon as I obtain my CFI. Whenever I am in L.A., I will be sure to rent from South Bay and work with Chris on every occasion possible.
