Sun Aviation is fine. It's what you expect from an FBO. Clean, efficient, friendly, mid-field (off 12R). I would go there again if arriving at KVRB. Under no circumstances, however, should you use Hertz at this location. The rental contract was incomplete with no rate fees (coincidence?). We landed after 5PM and the Hertz office was closed. When I called the national Customer Support Number with my confirmation number and explained the situation the representative agreed that she would never sign a blank contract. When I finally got the actual rate (2nd call to the Customer Support Number) it was quickly obvious I could take an Uber or Lyft 6-8 times for the rate of a 24 hour rental. Don't get fooled.

Visited VRB over the past weekend. Service once again exceptional. Great line staff.

For the last ten years Sun Jet has been my FBO of choice. This FBO seems to have three distinct divisions; Flight line, charter and maintenance. On Saturday morning August 27 I was supposed to depart VRB. Unfortunately during the run up of the Mooney an alternator problem was discovered. Although they advertise 24/7 on call maintenance I could not even get the courtesy of a phone call. On Monday morning after a quick run up, I flew on battery power only to SUA in order to get service. To this moment I have received no semblance of concern or caring. As to the charter division several months ago I needed to charter a plane from Vero to Kankakee. Two phone messages were not returned. Other arrangements were made. Flight line services have always been great. Jim and Denise are completely customer oriented. Very sad that they receive no support from the rest of the organization. I shall be trying the other FBOs on the field.
