Went there on Sunday to go see Fallingwater. Called ahead (twice) to see if there was a courtesy car or if I could rent a car, but no one ever answered. Called the unicom when I got within range, but no one ever answered. Called the unicom when I landed to ask where I could park and if I could get gas, but no one ever answered. When I got out of the plane, I found the one guy on duty at the FBO and he told me the courtesy car was in the shop and you can't rent a car on weekends (but if you call them on Friday they can leave one for you). He said he rents out his personal vehicle but someone had already taken it. So we were pretty much screwed. He recommended that next time I call ahead!

Awesome little airport. Staff was very friendly and the FBO was comfortable. I would certainly come back.

A great airport. I paid cash for the gas and it was $4.10. $5/night tiedown

Nice airport, but like other pilots said, it was pretty empty even on a nice Saturday afternoon. Even though there is a post here dated 8/2/2006 saying there was a courtesy car, Harry had previously told me the courtesy car was inop, and when I was there on 8/5, John told me there wasn't a courtesy car(?). Anyway, I rented one from Country Motors that was in about typical crew car condition for $35 and drove to Fallingwater. Nice trip, nice tour of Fallingwater, nice airport and friendly people. I recommend it.

Great experience -- flew in for a visit to Fallingwater. Harry had a courtesy car with directions ready to go. When it was time to go, I had a problem with my starter not engaging, and they hand-propped me (!) to get me on my way! I'll certainly be back.

Flew into VVS for a visit to Fallingwater. There were only a couple of planes on the field even though it was a Sunday and the weather was great. Reserved their courtesy van in advance and when I was picking up the keys there was a Fallingwater information brochure and the directions on how to get there attached. Great service!
