Made a spur of the moment trip to take the kids bicycling at nearby Ohiopyle State park (highly recommended, by the way). I'd been here a number of times before and was saddened to hear that their venerable old courtesy car had finally expired and there were no rental cars available on Sunday without a day or two prior arrangements. The fellow on duty graciously offered to have his wife bring in his pickup truck with jump seats, which he rented to me for a very reasonable rate. Now THAT is going out of your way to give good service!! I also topped off the plane with very reasonably priced fuel. This is not a fancy airport nor FBO facility but I will definitely be back and highly recommend it to others.

Went there on Sunday to go see Fallingwater. Called ahead (twice) to see if there was a courtesy car or if I could rent a car, but no one ever answered. Called the unicom when I got within range, but no one ever answered. Called the unicom when I landed to ask where I could park and if I could get gas, but no one ever answered. When I got out of the plane, I found the one guy on duty at the FBO and he told me the courtesy car was in the shop and you can't rent a car on weekends (but if you call them on Friday they can leave one for you). He said he rents out his personal vehicle but someone had already taken it. So we were pretty much screwed. He recommended that next time I call ahead!

Awesome little airport. Staff was very friendly and the FBO was comfortable. I would certainly come back.

A great airport. I paid cash for the gas and it was $4.10. $5/night tiedown
