From Hartford Foster on 21-Oct-2009
Arrived on 20th of oct and was informed they have no auto fuel and that will probably be permanent.

Flew from Fort Worth to Waterville, Maine, for a family funeral. WVL is easy to fly into, easy to fly out of. Runways are in excellent condition as are the taxiways. Plenty of ramp space to park and tie down--but might want to bring your own chocks and ropes, as I didn't see any on the ramp. Good fuel prices, especially for Maine where everything is high. Very friendly service, but FBO keeps limited hours. If you're going to arrive before or after operating hours, call in advance for instructions. They're more than happy to accommodate.

I found the lineman to be very courteous and professional. Inexpensive fuel. Had a rental car waiting for me upon arrival (no loaner car). Great place to stop.

I purchased a C150 based at KWVL. The staff was very good and hospitable. I would recommend this airport to anyone in the area.

I based out of WVL for a week in early August, and I couldn't have asked for a more friendly and helpful FBO. All was relaxed and low key, but completely professional. Just a great place to RON or fly out of.

I was very pleased with the service; temperature was in the single digits during the morning of our departure so I called to request that my tanis engine heaters be plugged in for our Cessna 340. Three hours later we arrived at the airport to find the engine heaters powered up and the aircraft fueled and ready to go. Very good service with very friendly staff; thanks Mike!
