I have appreciated the very reasonable fuel prices at N79, but learned this week when I arrived that the fuel pumps have been out of order since the Father's Day fly-in. It would have saved me a flight, had the outage been posted. Hope someone announces when the pumps are repaired

Came here for the low fuel prices, and keep coming back! Nice small airport, the fuel pump is nice, motorized retract on the fuel hose, automatic shut-Off nozzle, nice new flexible fuel hose. Just be advised, the CTAF 122.8 doesn't turn on the runway lights, 121.8 does. FBO always open w/ free snacks every time I've dropped by.

Stopped in for fuel with my son on way back from Oshkosh (I'm quite delayed writing this). Outstanding stop. Beautiful setting on a hill overlooking the valley. Friendliest people in aviation there, volunteering to keep the airport up, doing a great job at it and clearly enjoying the challenge. Planned a quick stop but stayed over an hour chatting with them and enjoying the scenery. Most enjoyable fuel stop I can remember.

Great facilities, excellent fuel price and a small town spirit that can't be beat. They love GA and it shows.
