Still no restaurant or FBO, however the door was open so we were able to use the restroom. If it isn't open, McDonald's is just a short walk in town.

Sadly, the Cafe shut its doors on January 28, 2008. Sounds like attempts are being made to re-open it under different operators.

Fuel System works fine. No phone nor rest room facilities and no Port A Potty or similar.

Great fuel stop. Cheap fuel, and the cafe was terrific. Stopped here mid-day on a Monday. Easy in & out with a full belly.

The New Hangar Restaurant in the airport is open Monday - Saturday Beginning in the month of May (new summer hours). They will be open Mothers day. The restaurant is Italian/American with great lunches and dinners. They open at 11 am each day and close at or around 7 pm weekdays and 9 pm weekends. Call (775) 463-5507 and they will also tell you wind and weather conditions and fuel prices

The first number listed for Yerington goes to "dispatch" for the county, and they don't know gas prices, etc. Try the other number 775-463-3511 during "business hours" and they are very helpful. The NEW Hangar Cafe is open Tue-Sun, 775-463-5507, but they aren't open until 11am, so no early breakfast flights.

Coffee shop is closed again. Sign on the door yesterday (7-4-06) says it will re-open under new management "in two weeks."

Good, quick fuel stop close to Reno - 100LL about $1.50 per gallon cheaper than at Reno International.

Airport Cafe has excellent food. We also spent the night in Yerington on our return trip. Casino West came to the airport and got us and returned us the next day. A very nice stay in a charming little town.
