Can it get any better??? Yesterday I landed a C172 in Tombstone. From previous comments on AirNav, I had read about Roy and Brett. And that their fuel prices were very competitive. The main reason to visit Tombstone was to meet a friend living there, so we headed to Tombstone. On landing, my front tire gets flat, I sit at the 1.000 ft marker on the runway.... Blocking it. It was late afternoon and I get hold of Roy who was in Benson. He rushes with his truck to Tombstone, with all it takes to tow the 172 safely to the ramp. He assesses the damage and promises to have the aircraft back in the air by noon next morning. We get the courtesy car for the night, visit with my friend, enjoy Tombstone next morning and by noon we're got a new tube in the front tire and we're ready to move on. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE, congrats to the Tombstone team for having so efficiently solved this problem. If you're in the vicinity, support this fantastic crew, they deserve it.

This is a great destination in the Old West. The airport runway is in excellent condition and you will get great service from the Airport Manager, Roy Jones. Call Roy first to arrange a courtesy car and to check on fuel availability. The assistance we received from Roy made the trip easy.

Today found us back in Tombstone and once again Roy Jones and his right hand guy Brett met us with a smile and professionalism. There are lots of improvements and more to come. Love the new ramp and additional tiedown spots. We didn't take on any fuel today but his crew vehicle was there waiting. Thanks Roy and Brett.

Fun rural AZ airport. Roy Jones from Benson (E95) has taken over management of the airport and making some improvements. 100LL and Jet A available off a truck. Mr. Jones has a crew car available to run into historic Tombstone. Call him before you go to get the latest information. Looking forward to his expanding activities at Tombstone. I'll be back.

Great airport, it's come a long way. The runway is in excellent shape. Be careful of terrain if departing to the west. Brett and Roy are incredibly friendly and helpful. The courtesy car is a huge plus, it makes it easy to fly here and pop into town, or head to the nearby mountains to hike. Make this one a stop!

Had a great experience at Tombstone Muni! Roy is a gracious manager and had us set with a crew car to borrow for the afternoon. We were able to land spend the day in town with no issues. Thanks again for all you hard work making this an awesome fly in location again.

Great airport. Newly paved runway with 3 or 4 tie downs and a small hangar. There is 100LL fuel also. Roy, the manager, will drive you into town. Call ahead. Very friendly and accommodating. Tombstone is a great town to visit and flying there couldn't be easier.
