Was just told by airport manager that they are closed for runway maintenance etc. Until sometime in June. Refer to Notams.

Visited 3pm Sat 11/5/22. 100LL pump was inop. There were some faded instructions about manually configuring valves from the main fuel tank, but following these instructions did not solve the problem--seemed like the was no power to the pump, though the take-up reel motor was energized. Office was unattended so not sure what the problem was or when it will be resolved.

Runway is in great shape and the fuel is some of the cheapest in the area. The portable building on the field has a nice clean restroom and cold A/C with drinks and snacks available for a small fee. Great stop if you're NE of Houston and need a break from the Texas heat!

I frequently return to Liberty to refuel as their fuel cost are the lowest in the area. The airport manager, Mr. Phil, is a true professional. In addition to being an excellent and organized airport manager, He is an extremely knowledgeable A&P and IA, and is always very helpful. He epitomizes customer service.

Landed evening of 6/25 can't say enough kind things about Phil the airport manager, he's the reason my wife says airplane people are cool! He went out of his way to help us out with a brake problem and brought the crew car to us on the ramp. Thanks Phil, we'll be back & you're the best!!
