I posted two stars Oct 2018. I would like to adjust my rating to 5 stars. Marion county has consistently had fuel available. The card reader has been reliable. The fuel area is well maintained and service has been more than reliable. The 100LL price is as low as any place around. There is a crew car available, call ahead for details on the crew car.

Cheap gas and a courtesy car for filling your tummy! Great service!

Always call this airport before stopping for fuel, pump was down yesterday, luckily there was another airport near by with fuel. Post updates an AirNav
From John Masterjohn on 23-May-2018

I wrote a review on May 9th. There was an issue with fuel pricing that was posted and what was billed. I was billed a much higher price. I was hasty in writing my review. I did finally contact the airport manager and he understood the situation and is correcting it. X35 has always been our favorite local fuel stop and we will continue to fuel there. My apologies to The airport manager for jumping the gun with a negative review before giving them a chance to resolve.

Great fuel stop. The airport manager Mike was very helpful on a hectic fly-in day of EAA Young Eagles. I didn't have a problem with the fuel charge ($3.78) and I think I can explain John Masterjohn's (May 9) issue - If you enter 50 gallons and only pump 35 the receipt shows 35 but your CC shows the charge for 50 (as pending) until the correct charge, 35 gallons, is processed and the 50/pending is replaced by the 35 gallon charge on your CC (the 50 is only pending, not charged). That's what happened to me. Mike was on top of it as soon as I let him know. Great fuel price and I'll definitely be back!
From Ernie Pentland on 05-Nov-2017

We flew a Citation into X35 to visit friends and to fill up on the $2.76/gal Jet A fuel. At first the pumping system would not work. As I looked around the building for a phone # to call (NO numbers), a local pilot arrived and showed us a closed fuel valve on the side of the big tank that should have been open. We then managed to fuel up, but upon returning home there were not 1, but 2 horrendous Jet A fueling bills on my charge card. EACH charge was almost double what the correct amount for the ONE refueling should have been! And of course, there was NO paper in the receipt printing machine. This was a very UNpleasant fueling stop. I have an email into the manager and 'will call him Monday morning. I will follow up this post with the outcome of our discussion.
