I was at this location on Sunday about 5:30 pm local time. The fuel was $3.54 per gallon, as advertised. There is an unattended office that is accessible 24 hrs by entering the Unicom frequency. The bathroom was spotless. I stopped here only 30 minutes from my final destination and will stop here again. Flying is very expensive, saving a dollar a gallon is well worth the fuel stop. Too bad there are not more airports with self-serve fuel at a great price.

This was my first time stopping in to Dunnellon and it was a positive experience. The manager met us while we waited number two in line for fuel and introduced himself. Very friendly and checked to see if we needed anything. There was a sign about the printer located on the self serve credit card swiper. Apparently it gets jammed but it worked fine for me. Additionally the sign and the manager said that they would get a receipt for me if needed. I intend to frequent Dunnellon more often for fuel in the future and think that it is definitely worth going a little out of the way for.

I am not sure what happened here. There is a new airport manager and there hasn't been printer paper in the self-fueler since the old friendly manager left. Don't plan on being greeted by anyone these days. Dunnellon airport has turned into a dust-bowl, no American Express at the pump.

I had a choice between OCF and X35; chose X35 based on comments in AirNav and $2.82 100LL. What a great experience. No frills, but great service, ez in and out of Ocala. Folks in the pattern provided alot of comm for this first time visitor. Roy does a great job. N2339J will be back.

I have a house in Dunnellon but I work in Miami so I fly my RV8 up to X35 every weekend. The folks at the port are great! Roy, the airport manager is an ex-Marine and is one of the nicest guys and most dedicated airport managers you'll ever meet. The facility provides the lowest priced 100 octane I've seen. RE: The airport's future... It's growing and soon to break ground on several new rows of T-Hangers. On a side note, I hope to talk Roy in to letting me create a website with live video snaps of the field and a live listen-in to air traffic audio feature. I won't charge for the site so he'll probably approve it; so keep you eyes and ears peeled. One last thing... There is an acrobatic box just north of the field. The proximity makes me a bit uncomfortable when in a left (north side) traffic pattern for runway 9 or 5. Although rarely used, 'still keep an eye out for unlimited level aerobatic maneuvers and if active, you may also want to keep a tight pattern.

Stopped by last week for an easy in and out fuel stop. The airport manager was there to assist me in fueling the airplane, which was a very nice surprise. The pump was a little slow for fueling my twin Cessna, but it still did the job. There isn't much else there besides vending machines, bathrooms, and reasonably priced fuel, but I will certainly be back.

Fueled up there Jan 19th 2009. Easy in and out airport and fuel as advertised. SS pump works fine. Rest room and office are quite adequate but not fancy. I will be back.

Nobody working Saturday afternoon, but the self-serve avgas pump functioned, price was competitive, and the restroom was open. Needed nothing else, so I'm a happy customer.

Have been flying into Ocala bi-annually for 12 years to visit my folks. The Ocala FBO, their attitude, or fuel prices never impressed me, but it was very convenient for my family. Earlier this month Ocala was closed for runway work and so I ended up at Dunnellon late at night and a little disorientated. I could not have been more impressed by the airport and its manager. Roy returned my calls, helped me with fuel and local directions and offered whatever I needed to get me on my way. I will no longer use OCF.

A very nice stop, with great fuel prices and convenient facilities. Roy Sieger, the airport supervisor, came out to greet me and help with the fueling. The self-service pump is only steps away from the rest rooms and flight planning. A great place to save some money going to or from points south.

I am a dedicated Florida flyer and AirNav is a wonderful tool for all sorts of information...Namely fuel prices. I made a stop in Dunnellon (8/26/08), was promptly met by Roy (Airport Manager), where he assisted me with my fueling and a nice conversation. He offered all the services currently available and explained; he would be offering more services in the near future. I will make this stop any time I am in the neighborhood.

This is one of our regular stops for the past 18 months. Roy, the airport manager is a class act who will always help. Great fuel prices. When we needed a GPU for our Merlin start Roy was able to get one of the operators on the field to lend his. Great people and very fair fuel prices. Wish they had staff on weekends. Good luck with fort coming airport improvements

Clearly the best fuel price in the entire Central Florida Coast to Coast. County owned and run keeps the extra money in our pockets. The best part of this in addition to the cheap price is that it is consistently the lowest fuel prices around. Everyone else may have a lower price on AirNav, but when you pull up or even call them the price is another 40-50 cents more than mentioned on the website. Not here! I just bought a Bonanza that holds 100 gals of fuel and I will be a regular customer from now on. In fact the price difference at X35 in comparison to the 'other guys' right next door paid for my flight with my wife to go get the gas! More flying and less profit to the FBO's that really don't do much for you anyway. -

Great Fuel prices. Restroom right by self serve pump. To unlock use Unicom freq. Very friendly. Fixed tight fuel hose for me on next visit. The county is really helping us out with their great prices. They have plans to redo airport. Put it on your flight plan to stop and maybe the increase in traffic will make it happen sooner than later!!

Needed a car for after hour's arrival. They have a good arrangement with Enterprise. Car was waiting parked on the ramp with key in it and paper work to sign. No one around, of course. Topped off with fuel next afternoon. Good stop.

Excellent service and a very helpful airport manager! I chose Dunnellon/Marion Co. as a stop because of its low fuel price and multiple runways. I had trouble finding a sectional chart that I needed, but Roy helped me out with that as well as running the pump. I couldn't have asked for better treatment.

Stopped in on April 9 and 14, 2008. Was meet both times by Roy the Airport Manager. The airport was well kept and fuel access was easy. Roy provided free ice water to all who was stopping. Fuel prices were reasonable. Will make this a fuel stop when in Florida. Great job Roy.

Best fuel stop in FL perfectly located for our trip, very quick to get in and out, multiple runways make for easy landings no matter where the winds are coming from or how fast. Pumps are easy to use and facilities are adequate. Very nice people, I will definitely be back.
