Stopped in for fuel enroute to Kansas City. Had to wait out some weather, but had a great time chatting with some of the regulars! Once it became apparent I was going to have to stay overnight, they let me take the courtesy car overnight to the hotel. Big thanks to Ken and the rest of the guys, I highly recommend KOWP to anybody transiting!

Stopped in one evening for a pit stop on the way back to TX. I very much appreciated the after-hours access to the restrooms! Very clean.

The fuel price and ease of getting in/out peaked my interest in stopping at Sand Springs rather than in Tulsa. This is a great and friendly stop with nice facilities. Thank you Ken for the fueling help. See you again!

Nice little airport, great for a fuel stop. Jim Franklin and the local pilots were most helpful & courteous. There is no car rental however, so if you are going to overnight you'd better call Enterprise ahead of time and arrange to have a car delivered to the airport. The nearest car rental is 30 miles away in Sapulpa.

For me this was a great option to going into the two Tulsa airports. The extra 4 miles of driving was more than offset by the reduction in "props turning" time dealing with ground and tower. Ken, the airport manager, really knows what he's doing.
