Flew into DTO 4/19/26. Excellent service for me and my little C172, parked, assisted with tie down and luggage for our overnight stay. The FBO is beautiful and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and welcomed us for our overnight stay. Fuel was pricey, of course, facility fee waived with fuel purchase ($14.33) I enjoyed chatting with the staff at the desk. Food and beverages available as well as a pilot lounge.

Denton used to be easy to land at. GA aircraft seemed welcome, you could park under the control tower, free of charge. There was no service fee, no parking fee, no fuel minimum. Since 2022 this has changed, not in favor of the GA population

No tiedowns at the FBO site, they are a half mile away and you have to call to get a cart to come and get you. No rest rooms in the tiedown area. The overnight charge is $20.00 for a RV single engine and they have a tiedown and another fee for twins. The folks are nice but the charges for service are unacceptable. The City doesn't really want small airplanes there, just the aircraft schools and jet aircraft. Lots of student traffic and some folks in the tower are just rude. 60 years of aviation experience and this is as bad as it gets.
