Really great FBO & people. Kevin was super. Very helpful & understanding. Nice fuel stop. Got here on windy day and they help me secure a/c and put me in hangar during Gail. Best stop in IOWA.

This place is the best kept secret in the Midwest! Great fuel prices, well maintained airport, and you could not ask for a better FBO/Airport manager (Kevin McGrew). I pulled up to the self-serve pump, and Kevin comes out to give me a hand, and now that I think about it, I think he fueled it himself! We stopped for fuel, but it turned into an impromptu overnight. Not to worry, Kevin handed us the keys to the crew car and gave us a recommendation on a hotel and what restaurant to eat at. Both were spot on! We stayed at the Red Coach Hotel, and it was very nice. The restaurant in the hotel is "Stadium 34", and we ended up playing pool and chatting with one of the owners for hours! My son had a blast :-) Next morning, we fueled up the crew car to say thank you, and headed to the airport. Kevin was there to help us pull our airplane out of the hangar and he made sure we had everything we needed. I cannot imagine a better experience at an airport. Kevin is the best in the business!

Fuel price as posted on AirNav. Outstanding quick stop with best prices on fuel in Western Iowa or Eastern Nebraska. Pump credit card payment and is easy to use. Terminal lobby is open 24/7 with the CTAF code. Refrigerator is well stocked with water & a variety of soft drinks. Snacks: candy, and a variety of other goodies. Loaner car to run into Town for a burger or other supplies.

Flight to RDK today FBO manager on duty along with four other local pilots having Coffee/cookies Some home made. They invited me to join the conversation. I witnessed firsthand as they proved to be willing ambassadors for RDK Will return on a Sunday to meet again.

I have been landing in Red Oak, IA for 10 years. First with a Mooney and lately with a Twin Cessna. This is one of the best airports across the Midwest. Their fuel prices are always low and the fuel pump is very easy to operate. Their FBO has 24/7 access, has a nice kitchenette, and there are always people around to talk to. They have a shower in the bathrooms if necessary. It is quick to get into IFR while talking with Omaha Approach. They have a courtesy car if necessary too.

Can't say enough about what a pleasant experience it was to stop at Red Oak recently for fuel on a cross-country trip in the Citation. Great facility, excellent fuel price, and airport manager Kevin was right there to assist with the fueling. If for nothing else, stop here for the friendly reception, and the memorial plaque for Ernie Smith, long time Red Oak pilot. Thanks Kevin, see you again for sure!
