We used to have great service from Rainier, but over the last 6 months, our experience with on field fueling has been terrible. Transient fueling may be better than my experiences, but if you're based there, and aren't leasing a tiedown from Rainier, you'll be more and more frustrated at their ability to fuel in a timely manner. Typically they don't answer the fueling number, and it often goes to voicemail--sometimes it just hangs up on you. Expect this to go unnoticed. No matter how many messages you leave, they won't actually come fuel your plane (as an experiment I've left multiple VMs over a few days that I knew I wasn't going to be flying). The best way to get a human is to talk to the "Renton customer service" and not the "fuel service" option where they'll promise to come over immediately, but that usually means at least an hour and probably longer. A few return phone calls might actually get someone there--your mileage may vary. It's not worth their discount for the hassle.
