Very friendly airport, and the new FBO is clean and sparkling. Airport manager Brett Curenton was onsite, helped me secure oil for my plane and even loaned me a funnel. Lots of history to this airport and surrounding area. Very enjoyable experience.

Arrived after hours. Self-serve fuel right in front of the FBO was easy to use. Found no restrooms or after hour facilities other than fuel. Good runway. Easy fuel stop.

Love this place. Went there for accelerated IFR training. Brett did a first class job but note the course was "intensive". My brains felt mush at times but Brett had a way of knowing just how much information I could handle. Very friendly people. Mechanic services are available on field and self serve fuel priced very low also help. Enterprise rental car will pick you up at the airport and drop you after the rental is over. This airport has a rich aviation history. Warbirds and Cubs are based at this place as are ultralights, high and low wing people aircraft. Good stop!

Typically wonderful Southern airport - friendly airport manager, good fuel prices ($4.74 as of 19 Sep 08) and excellent facilities. Tie down is free, hangers go from $70-150... Wished I was based here! No wonder that folks from many miles around base here - nice place.

Nice little airport with very friendly natives. Self-serve fuel is easy, convenient, and inexpensive. Fuel on Dec 9 still $3.24/gal. Was offered a front row overnight tie-down spot. The FBO, including restroom, is comfortable and clean. The FBO is not open on Sundays or major Holidays. Next time I am in Montgomery, AL area, this is my stop.
