Folks if you're in the area do yourself a favor and drop in to 0A9 for any of your en-route needs. From the airport manager, to the "little girl" behind the counter, to the guys out working the ramp, everyone was quick with a smile, polite, attentive and very professional. The FBO and bathrooms are absolutely spotless, with internet access, WSI weather, crew car, competitive fuel prices, Elizabethton is hard to beat. There's even a couple of big screen TV's for the kids, (big and small) and food available right across the street within easy walking distance. If you're just looking to wait out some weather or just want to take a break or need some fuel, Elizabethton is my first choice when I'm in the area.

The staff at Elizabethton was extremely helpful and went out of their way to be of service. Clean FBO, great service, and friendly people. Left an airplane for a week due to terrible winter storm. No problem. The 0A9 crew took great care of it. In my opinion. Skip others...And their "landing fee"...I will use 0A9 instead. Thanks for the great service!

Great Service. Super friendly people. I wish every FBO worked the way these guys do. Every person, counter, lineman, manager, we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. Only one vice..... Enterprise charges rates on average 30.00 higher per vehicle to service the airport. The airport manager and the city are all about service and a quality reputation. Hats off to them. Enterprise is not so customer oriented.... The car was on empty and we had to make stops and use snow to clean the windshield, as the washer fluid was empty. I will be back to 0A9 but I will find a different way to get around than Enterprise.

Folks, if you're so inclined, compare the comments below to the comments left for the KTRI FBO over at upper east TN's "big" airport. Visit 0A9 one time and you'll find out why Elizabethton Municipal Airport was recently awarded Best Airport in Tennessee. Randy (mgr, awarded Best Apt Manager also!), Dan and group literally define the meaning of superlative service. Avail yourself of their services. You will not be disappointed.

Ditto the comments just below from another satisfied fly-in camper. This airport and their operation is what every airport should be!

I flew my SuperCub in from New Hampshire for the Eastern Tennesse Fly In. A Fly In is normally frowned upon by a corporate FBO staff as additional work with little to no compensation. I found the manager Randy and his staff to be extremely friendly and went way out of their way to make it a great weekend. We even had the airport commissioner flipping burgers. This is a great facility and staff. Next time I come to Bristol Races to heck with VJI I am headed to 0A9.

Attended the East Tennessee Super Cub Fly In this last weekend and what a GREAT airport and wonderful FBO! They really bent over backwards to make us all welcome - even though I am sure 30 SuperCubs was quite a distraction! Thanks!

Great FBO - Very Large in Size...Service was second to none...First time I have ever been offered a tour of the FBO, and its big enough to need a tour...Great facility! Across the street is a great "Hamburger Hut" (They also serve Breakfast) good milkshakes to...Great place to make a 100 hamburger run...The FBO takes great care of you even if you require no services!

FBO has now moved to the southeast side of the field, into the old Moody Aviation facility. The FBO facilities are very nice, and fuel is now dispensed from a fuel truck, rather than from the fixed pumps on the northwest side of the field. Fuel prices are on the high side, but not as bad as some. Service is excellent.

Nice place - Randy is a much better manager than that last guy Shouse.
