RON 7/24 - 7/27/09. Arrived after the FBO closed, but self-serve fuel is easy to find and use, and there are plenty of tie-downs, many with ropes so you won't need your own. FBO building is open after hours and has Internet and weather and restrooms. Tie-down is $5/night, not waived with fuel purchase since the FBO doesn't own/operate the self-serve. Less traffic, easy access to US-400, and cheap fuel makes this a convenient alternative to AAO for access to the southeast side of Wichita and McConnell AFB area.

From Jim Rockwood on 08-Aug-2008
I use the airport occasionally since my son lives in Wichita. My latest stop was on the way back from Oshkosh on August 3, 2008. We were greeted on the ramp in front of the terminal, fueled and the attendant towed the plane to a parking spot and tied it down. Good service, the facilites are reasonable for a small town airport and the people are always friendly but the fuel prices are a bit high.
