Chose 6B6 instead of BED to avoid the $50 landing and parking fee there... But also enjoyed the benefit of about a $2/gal savings in avgas. Enterprise rent-a-car picked me up at the field, and let me leave the car there when I departed the next morning. The folks at 6B6 are very helpful and easy to do business with; you may have to call on the radio a few times if they're busy, but they're definitely there. Minute Man will definitely be my first choice when heading to the northwest Boston suburbs.

Minuteman has a new PAPI on runway 21! Since it was commissioned, I have flown the approach to 21 at night, during the day, and on the VOR/DME 21 in weather near minimums. The PAPI is a great enhancement. I found the glidepath guidance easy to see well out past the final approach fix and it made all my approaches much easier. Nice to see Minuteman continuing to improve all aspects of the facility. As someone else said here, this place really is what general aviation is all about; friendly, great service, great fuel prices, and now an improved approach to the runway.

This airport is what general aviation is all about! Nice restaurant, friendly and helpful people, easy in & out. Best fuel price in the area + $0.10/gal off for cash/check or $0.20/gal discount for the FBO's prepaid account program.

Chosen for its proximity to Framingham, MA, this airport proved ideal (Jul 19-20). 100LL price is reasonable and airport personnel were friendly & helpful. Runway and taxiways could use repair, especially southern end. Bring your own ropes.

One of the best airports to stop in the area. The owner (Don) got me a tie down spot on the front row for the weekend. When I checked out for the flight back to Indy I was offered a cold bottle of water. They also have fuel at a reasonable price and mogas is available.

One more kudos for this FBO! I've been here several times for the great fuel price, and it's always a pleasure to chat with Don, the owner, and maybe stop for a bite at his wife's restaurant on the field. Came by yesterday at 5:30 to get fuel, and the FBO was closed. However, Don was still on the field and came to assist. That's service!

Very competitive 100LL price, runway 3 approach has been cleared of trees so it is easier to get in there with less bumps on the approach. The restaurant is still good (and busy!). Good service, I'll be back...

This airport is a GEM. If you are flying anywhere near it and need a break, this is the place. I hope that it never closes. Service at Nancy's was great and it has a good view of the runway.

WOW! I flew in to 6B6 last evening for the first time since they cut the trees at the runway ends. What an improvement. Where the trees used to mandate "drive and dive" approach to RWY 03, the runway now supports a nice stabilized approach. I also noticed that there was no turbulence over the ravine just outside the threshold. I used to drop altitude at that point due to turbulence every time I used that runway. Now that the trees are cut back, there was no drop at this point. While I didn't land on it, RW 21's approach looked much better from the air too. I'll try that one next. I also found the service to be terrific. Don the airport manager waited after hours for me to arrive so we could fuel my airplane. He was very helpful and friendly. I'm planning to use this airport considerably more now.

Flew in to Minute Man today for lunch; NO landing fee was charged. A very pleasant visit in all respects. Don, the Manager, was friendly and helpful.
