Stopped for fuel and ended up taking a break and staying the night. Easy, cheap, SS fuel. Pilot lounge opened with CTAF# with WX. Nice guy from Central Planes Aviation helped charge the battery on the courtesy car and get it started (I should have called ahead as it hadn't been used in a while.) Stayed in the AmericInn, very pleasant with indoor pool, and they gave us directions to the Captain's Table steak and seafood restaurant about four miles out of town by a lake. Sauk (apparently pronounced sock) has a Super Walmart, some fast food and a quaint main street with restaurants.

Thanks for putting in a longer hose. It now is long enough to reach both wing tanks of a medium twin (Beech Duke)

I have a Beech Sport (sundowner) and had no problems with the hose. Taxied up with my wingtip 4-5ft from the pump and the hose made it to the opposite wing tank. Self service pump works good, with cheap gas. Pilot lounge is accessible 24hrs a day via CTAF # on the door lock keypad. Weather services, phone, coke machine, restrooms, and courtesy car key all available inside. A welcome stop for a cross-country.
