Stopped at E11 in the middle of the night for fuel on a track across the country. The price was the best around. Although it felt like I was the last person on earth, the self-serve pumps were well lit and functioned perfectly. They even had a funnel for adding engine oil. Made a quick turn fuel stop and departure had my clearance all ready on departure. BE60.

Re-fueled our Bonanza on a return trip to Texas. Nice airport with a good fuel price.

From Alan R. Stahlman on 22-Aug-2009
Good airport with nice and clean FBO, and great fuel prices to load up our Caravan with Jet-A.

From Marc-Olivier Oetterli on 04-Aug-2009
The intended fuel stop in Andrews turned into an overnight stay due to thunderstorm activity on our way from Dallas to El Paso. Great fuel price, good lounge with drinks, computer, printer and phone, after hour’s access and motel at walking distance - and helpful staff. Would plan a stop at Andrews again. Easy!

Have never used the FBO/facilities but stop in regularly for the fuel. Cheapest around, pump always works, easy in and out.

From Paul Beineke on 22-Jan-2009
This set up is the way an FBO should be -- great fuel prices and great facilities with easy access. This was an enjoyable fuel stop for both my family and me. The facilities were nice and so were the people. They also have the place set up for after-hours access. Ramps and runways were also in great shape.

AVGAS isn’t cheap. Get over it. If you want cheap gas, stop here, 'cuz it's probably the best price in the area. (Fuel prices change, sometimes quickly). Jack helped me w/ a starter problem; we spent several hours troubleshooting it. It got fixed. When it was all said and done, he wouldn't accept payment for services rendered. When's the last time you got THAT invoice?

From Bryan Wilsak on 27-Oct-2008
As a pipeline pilot I am constantly stopping at Andrews for fuel. Every landing here has been a pleasant experience. Jack does an excellent job running the airport. It is one of the best airports that I stop at while flying my routes. As we all know the price of fuel has gone up so if a person chooses to fly then I would think they would expect to spend some money.

Stopped in on Oct 24th for some $4.29 fuel as posted on AirNav. Unfortunately, the fuel was $5.00. The gentleman who helped me with the fuel said he was sorry but was powerless to fix the problem (some sort of invoicing problem with the delivery.) I checked AirNav in their office and it was still listed at $4.29. I asked him why he doesn't log-in to AirNav and update it and he essentially said it was the County Auditor's responsibility. I asked him why he didn't call the Auditor and notify him that AirNav needed to be updated and he didn't seem too interested in doing that. 4 hours later, when I arrived home, AirNav had been updated to reflect the current price. Geez, I like this airport (and really use the heck out of AirNav) but won't stop here again. I understand that the price was not guaranteed, but these pricing lags really make it difficult to plan reasonable cross-country fuel stops.

Great people. Facilities are very accommodating; I will make this a regular stop. Runways are well maintained, large self service ramp.

From Keith Fleming on 23-Jun-2008
Excellent fuel stop in West Texas. Reasonable self serves prices. The pilot facilities are top notch and I appreciate the honor system soft drinks in the refrigerator. Runways and airport are very well maintained. Overall a great place to make a quick fuel up.

From Chris Huff on 14-Jun-2008
Has to be one of the best airports around this area. I come up from my home base (KMDD) all the time just for fuel. Very nice, self-service facilities and FBO building. Jack is friendly and does a top notch job of running this place. Stop here if you ever get a chance.

From David J. Spencer on 08-May-2008
We use E11 all the time as first fuel stop westbound to Phoenix from Dallas. Also use it on eastbound return as the self-service is ALWAYS open and with multiple runways we never have to fight West Texas cross winds. Great place...

From Kyle Deaver on 31-Jan-2008
Great fuel prices, but it is self-serve. On a nice weekend, expect a wait to get fuel. Trying to get someone on the radio for an airport briefing was, to say the least, a little spotty.

From D Douglass on 25-Nov-2007
Great quick fuel stop, but definitely a high-density-altitude field. Small lounge and clean restrooms. Would have been perfect if there was coffee.

From Jim Dawdy on 29-Sep-2007
Landed for fuel ($3.89) and ended up spending the night due to weather. Jack gave us a ride to the motel, and put our 150 in the hangar overnight. Airport office is comfortable and cokes and water stocked in the fridge. This place is a gem.

Stopped over for fuel again on July 18, 2007. Visitor building has a computer with Internet connection for checking weather. There is a also a phone for calling a briefer and/or clearance delivery (Weather at the time was VFR, and I picked up IFR clearance from Midland App.)

From K Chambers on 14-Jul-2007
Great place for fuel layover. Landed on Sunday morning to refuel. No attendant, but fuel was available for self-service and building with restrooms and drinks was accessible with Unicom code.
