Even though I had parked at Quest late at night (it's where I saw airplanes parked!) someone from AFS who had come to the airport to check on a plane that hadn't cancelled their flight plan gave us a ride to the Ramada. That's good service!

I arrived at ABR with my student at 20:15. It turns out that both FBO's close at 20:00. After walking around the ramp looking for a self-service pump, we found some pilots in a hangar. They called up Mark and within 10 minutes, he was back at the airport refueling our aircraft. He offered to give us a car to go into town and get something to eat. We didn't want to bother Mark anymore so we declined. We were back in the airplane in no time. Mark was very helpful and went beyond our expectations. Mark also said they were getting a self-service installed hopefully by June of 2008. Overall, a really great experience at Aberdeen Flying Service!

I needed a place to put down due to weather and was able to contact these guys in the air. They had a heated hangar waiting for me in 15 mins. and a courtesy car at my disposal. Fuel was kind of pricey, compared to the FBO on the same field, but when it's -15F I ain't price shopping. The service cannot be beat.

Back again for the seventh year. Good service as always. Glad they are UVAIR dealers.

I stayed in Aberdeen overnight on a ferry trip in early June. Aberdeen Flying Service provided a courtesy car after-hours (which is in very poor and dangerous shape), and they recommended the Ramada Inn, where there is a significant discount for pilots using the airport. The hotel was decent and the discount was wonderful (total came to about $43). However, I have mixed feelings about the FBO because of employees' attitudes the next day. We did not get a friendly hello from anyone in the building despite giving a tip for the courtesy car and buying fuel. When they processed the fuel bill they barely said a word. It was their lunch break, so it was as if they did not want to do any work and did not want our business. I would be hesitant to use this FBO again.
