Flew in today for lunch at the Berry Street Bakery. Good soup and sandwich. Also fueled up at the new fuel pump. It's a lot faster now.

We flew up from Fredericksburg for cheap gas and use of the car for a BBQ run before heading back to Houston. This is a neat airport with good people.

Llano is my favorite location to fly to when I need fuel or after long periods idleness for the plane. The fuel is usually the lowest in the area and the hospitality has always been real Texan. Love those rocking chairs and appreciate the availability of vehicles for a run in to town.

Flew in to top off Bonanza tanks with fuel and was pleasantly surprised with the 100LL@3.65. Enjoyed for the first time Tommy's Pizza...EXCELLENT!!

Nicest day in weeks! Flew to our favorite airport and town, Llano. Ate at the China Wok. Nice place, clean and efficient. Good food. Order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Ample portions in nice containers and the price is reasonable. Toured the Museum just south of the restaurant next to the river. The river was rolling over the dam. Quiet a site and a long time coming! Enjoyed the visit. Fuel prices lowest in the area.

Just another nice trip over to Llano and back to get away from Georgetown. Used the # 1 car. Parked on the square. Plenty of parking. Visited some of the shops, sat by the river- the water is flowing again. Ate at the Hungry Hunter, west of town on Highway 29. Fueled the plane and it was back home to a mass of inhumanity and traffic.

Long winter! After weeks of inactivity because of bad weather, illness and trying to stay warm we looked forward to flying on this near perfect day. We enjoy Llano for a quick trip, 30 minutes. So we flew over for fuel, a visit with the manager and ate at the Burger Bar. Llano is never a disappointment.

I flew in aboard N226C and blew my nose wheel tire on landing. The staff came out and towed my plane in. One of the locals, Jimmy Gist, flew to a neighboring airport for the right tube! The FBO fixed the tire.... All while I was at lunch...Great guys super friendly, real aviation ambassadors.
